This is a continuation thread, the old thread is [split]502403[/split]
All the posters here have huge text "From the studio that brought you X-Men: Days of Future Past" and the trailers have the same thing. Yeah they are totally trying to sell it as a MCU movie (y)
I shake my head in bewilderment. Ignorance is relative.
So many times.....people in here speak with the voice of the comic book fan....that is to say, they have spent so much of their lives living the comic book related world....they forget that the rest of the world doesn't care that much. It may be vastly different logos to you....but to the rest of the world they see MARVEL. There are many things in their world that they know everything about....but the comic book fan is ignorant of. The point being....the studio know they are ignorant of the differences and only see the MARVEL name....so they show it prominately to lure them in. That's business....it's the way it has been done for decades.
That's the audiences ignorance then. The Marvel logos are different afterall.
This movie and all Fox Marvel movies before it, dating back to before there was an MCU have used the Marvel (not Marvel studios) logo legally and rightfully, nothing has changed on their part.
They've not misled audiences in the slightest
I'm sure a huge corporation would never do anything shady or dishonest in any way.
This film screened in the UK already. Where are the Twitter reactions?

Are you talking about the Unlimited screening by Cineworld?
If so, the screening is at 8:15 PM and now it is 7:22 PM in UK.
I was almost positive it was screening at 2:00 PM in the UK.
Nobody is saying that it isn't a Marvel film, it is because it's loosely based on the Fantastic Four. It is not a Marvel Studios film though, it just flat out isn't.It is a Marvel film, though. Saying it isn't a Marvel film because it isn't made by Marvel Studios is wrong. Then you discredit every good film adapted from a Marvel comic made before Iron Man because it wasn't Marvel Studios as well. It is still a Marvel film.
Oh. It says 20:15 in their website.
So when can critics give away their reviews?
I checked last night and it said 14:15 over at the Chelsea theater in London.
