The movie's most offensive moment is a direct rip-off to Avengers: Age of Ultron. I refuse to believe it was by accident either. It's an exact, direct lift. However, where it is somewhat amusing in Avengers, it is downright offensive here.
I am really saddened that Josh Trank believes there are only two versions of Sue Storm, the ****ty secretary or the brilliant scientist. He clearly does not understand the character at all.
He claimed Sue would be dignified and have integrity in this movie but she doesn't.
She is smart and stoic and likes to listen to music while she works...that's it. Apparently being a smart girl who listens to music on her headphones while she types at a keyboard makes you really dignified and full of integrity. Go figure.
