Trank is responsible for his unprofessional behaviour and (imo) having terrible ****ing ideas for a Fantastic Four movie.

Fox shoulders the blame for being tightass miserable bastards who rushed this garbage out the door for no other reason than retaining the license.

Big movies have a lot of moving parts and there is more than enough blame to spread around. Seems like the narrative Fox and the trades want to spin is to pin everything on Trank but I'm not buying that. This feels like full-on Rothman era Fox colliding with an immature and unstable director who folded under pressure.

FOX shouldn't have greenlit Trank's ideas. Trank and whoever shouldnt have had his ideas. FOX shouldnt have, allegedly, kept demanding big changes close to the start of filming date. Trank, allegedly, shouldn't have acted out on set no matter the reason. Trank also shouldn't have sent out that tweet.

It's sad for the Fantastic Four franchise, so much potential wasted.
It's sad for Superhero movies in general, hopefully it doesn't sour the general public.
It's sad for Trank who once seemed to have a promising career.
It's sad for Fox who have once again failed in the genre.
It's sad for the cast, who for the most part are good actors.
It's sad for the fans who again have to put up with a less than mediocre portrayal of some awesome characters that are loved.
Yeah, just sad and disappointing.

Deadpool is such a smartass character that they actually should throw that into the marketing. They've already acknowledge Origins in the marketing.

I think we should temper our expectations for Deadpool. It is an R-rated adaptation of a cult property. While I happen to be looking forward to it because I really like Deadpool, I don't see that mixture of slapstick and violence appealing to the majority of the general audience. Even among comic book fans there are a lot of people that hate the character. I do think it will be successful in terms of making a profit if it is a good film, but I'd be surprised if it ends up as some gigantic blockbuster.

Dawn of Justice is the potential game changer.
