Tim Story has stated he has a few ideas about a Fantastic Four 3. And if the 2nd movie does good at the box office expect another one. I would love for it to feature Namor.

Me thinks this belongs in the FF sequal board. :woot:

I think Puppet Master needs to be in it.

And Sequels Forum please.

Well since Doug Jones is signed on for 3 films i have a feeling that the third one will probably be about The Coming of Galactus...But if not i would like to see Namor or The Skrulls

Inhumans!!!

I would love to see the Inhumans down the line, but you have to do the Frightful Four first, to introduce Medusa.

I Mole Man movie would be cool, perhaps they could tie Dragon Man in with him; but I would rather not see an entire movie focused on the Puppet Master [the best Thing gone bad story was FF#41-43].

Mad Thinker could be good, Blastarr, Psycho Man, Dragon Man, Diablo, it goes on and on...

Most likely, Jones is signed on for 3 films featuring his character, leading me to believe Fox is planning one or two Surfer spin-offs.

I think you can do a good Inhumans story without the Frightful Four.

Sure you CAN, but why would you want to? Doing Inhumans before Frightful Four pretty much kills one of the great classic FF stories [brainwashed Thing in #41-43] and doing it afterwards would screw things up [why would Medusa go "bad" - or worse, replace her with someone else.

But yeah, you can do anything. You can do the Surfer with out the Watcher and the rest of the supporting story elements from #48-50...and we shall see how that works out!

You don't need to follow the comic by the book. You can do a Frightful Four movie having nothing to do with the Inhumans (using that Thing story), and an Inhumans movie with no Frightful Four.

Both would make good sequels, but I liked the Inhumans part of the story much more.

I don't think you need to tie the Inhumans in with the Evil FF, I am saying that the only link between the two is Medusa is a member of both groups. If you introduce her in an Inhuman story first, they why would she join up with the Frightful Four later? And since it's bad enough that the evil FF can not have Sandman [and I think Quicksand would make the best replacement, not HydroMan or whom ever] it would be a shame to loose Medusa, too!

Another problem with the Lee/Kirby Inhuman stories is that they have no third act. They were always meant to be a spring board to a solo series [it finally happened after #99], and so none of the stories [as originally done] have a satisfying ending. #48 ends with them trapped in the "Negative Zone," Black Bolt frees them a year later, but with out the FF's help, and #83 ends with Maximus and his gang getting away.

Whats wrong with them being imprisoned in the end? It is a bit of a downer, but still a satisfactory ending.

I hope to G*D that the second movie do well at the box office, I want to see a third movie where it actually is going to be longer and the SFX will be better.

I hope to G*D that the box office will be a sucess to get started on a third movie.

I am all for the Inhumans, the Skrulls, Mole Man, Frightful Four, Mad Thinker and his Awesome Android, et al!

I wish people would stop thinking of this as a possible trilogy and start thinking of it as a series. Again, if there can be 20 plus James Bond movies, there can be MANY more FF movies than three!

There may be a series not a trilogy, but I'd rather see the Inhumans in FF3 than the Frightful Four. We could make a variation of the different Frightful Four's later instead of using Medusa.

That's just personal preference.

Yeah, but all the other Frightful Four teams sucked! It's bad enough that SandMan can not be in it, let's not loose Medusa, too!

Sandman isn't hard to replace. Not like he was a prominent character in the story. Plus, many characters are similar to him.

Granted, Medusa is harder, but if I thought about it, I probably could make a good non-Medusa and Sandman Frightful Four.

Sure, you can group any four villians together and call them the evil FF, but being a fan of the Kirby run, I want my original Frightful Four - sans SandMan, I guess...

In FF3 I'd like to see the FF enter the negative zone (maybe with the Inhumans along, sure why not) and fight Annihilus with the birth of Franklin on the line.

Where did you hear Doug was singned for 3 films???

Hm...

How about the Skrull? One of the big FF villains, only seems fair.

I'm indifferent really. The first FF movie was a lot of fun so i'm expecting the second (and any future sequels) to be the same.

I don't want to see the Puppet Master. Going from the Surfer, Doom, and the end of the Earth to the Puppet Master?

The Inhumans would be a better continuation.
