Fantastic Four: First Steps General News & Discussion Thread (TAG SPOILERS)

Kind of reminds me of how they built a green lantern ride for movie world here in Australia and then the movie flopped haha. But people seemed to still like the ride

This Mcu Fantastic 4 does remind me of Tomorrowland. That movie is also turning 10 iirc this year.

I hope it is as groundbreaking as GOTG and Black Panther. I feel like that its the only way it would break out at the box office in July.

Has anybody heard any more on a trailer?

Somebody had reported April 4 a while back, but that’s coming up quick and I haven’t seen any recent mentions of a new trailer.

I'm not a huge F4 fan, so I'm playing devils advocate here.
Reed must be shown to be as smart as Tony Stark and can invent things on the fly.

The thing must be shown performing some Hulk like feats of strength. Not just strong, as in punching through walls, or knocking cars over, but things like hurling a car a half a mile, or picking up an entire building.

I feel like they have to include the other FFox actors, rather than just bringing up Chris Evans as Human Torch again. Similar to how they spreaded out Kelsey, Patrick, Hugh in 3 different MCU films and now James Marsden and Ian McKellen in Doomsday.

There was a great theory when it appeared Chris Evans was the mystery celebrity on-set that
The FF timeline had Steve Rogers/Captain America who had been there since WWII, and that’s why it’s a more utopian world - and even better, this is OUR Steve Rogers who created the new timeline when he went back in time (though that may not square with his appearance as an old man).

I could get onboard with that, but it’s probably too good to be true.

A Chris Evans cameo as Captain America,in the same year Sam Wilson just led a Captain America movie, which is actually also a Incredible Hulk sequel.... I don't really get Marvel Studios passing the torch to Sam, when they can't truly move on from Chris Evans as Captain America.

Galactus’ head would have been great, since it’s basically a popcorn bucket with handles, but I get why they would want the bucket to be one of the heroes.
