I agree that i hate the runours but i prefer a bunch of rumours vs a bunch of nothing and dead silence

 

Honestly, I would prefer silence as opposed to it being a new actor being frontrunner for Role XYZ every 5 minutes. Wake me up when we get real news basically. I am numb to these "scoops" at this point

 

So many Reed Richards rumors.

Instead of a traditional Fantastic Four film, just make a Council of Reeds film with all of the rumored actors and anyone who has played Reed. Kill multiple birds with multiple Reeds.

I really hope they get someone better than the names that keeping popping up. None of them have excited me so far.

The one quote that stood out to me:

I’ve never heard them compared to Star Trek before, but that actually makes a whole lot of sense. Scientific exploration of unknown, otherworldly, strange places and environments, and trying to make the universe a better place through technological advancement. That little tidbit posted sometime ago about this film being more focused on exploration makes a whole lot more sense now.

The more I hear or read about him talking about this, the more excited I get and feel that he was the right person for the job. He just seems to get it and what these characters and their world is all about.

I'd like Reed to be like a Starship captain from Star Trek. Someone like Anson Mount would've been ideal if he hadn't already played Blackbolt in the MCU.

But someone like Christopher Russell could work as he reminds me of a young Anson Mount both in the way he looks and how he acts.

 

I have thought about this a lot. Galaxy Quest is another franchise that is also very similar to F4
