And RDJ isn’t really doing a ton physically. There really isn’t anyone from the Phase 1 cast that couldn’t keep up their roles.

There was a rumor that Surfer would get a Disney+ “special” shortly before the FF film.

That would be a great way to show his origin as well as introduce Galactus. Do the whole Norrin Radd Story, it ends with The Silver Surfer becoming a herald. The animated series did a good origin. It sets up his sacrifice that ends with

He's reliable in so far as he gets info from test screenings, I don't remember a single time he's gotten anything else especially in regards to stuff like this. And when his "scoop" directly contradicts Krasinki's own comments who has practically been begging to play Reed in the MCU I think it's fair to not take him seriously.

Idk man ppl change their minds all the time. Krasinski may have said that but that was a long time ago and if they were to ask him today he could say something completely different given he is looking forward to promoting his movie Imaginary Friends.


Plus VA doesn’t come across like one of these BS scoopers who throw poop at the wall. Seems like such a peculiar random thing to fabricate that Krasinski didn’t want the role due to his passion for directing. It is a little too specific for this to be completely made up

Yeah, many huge and core characters to come. Just a shame humans age lol, or we wouldn't have lost other core characters like Cap and Iron Man along the way before we get the others.

De aging tech has made aging obsolete imho just as long as the actor is still alive. I don’t support CG recreations of dead actors

The most I know is he expressed interest in Noah Hawley's planned Doom solo movie, but I don't know if he auditioned since that project never went anywhere.

Well, if he DID walk out of that audition, I certainly wouldn't hold it against him. I'd even go so far as to call it a smart move.

This is honestly the strongest confirmation besides the Deadline article. If the cast is indeed as recently rumoured, I am somewhat shocked they went with an all white cast. I approve since it is comic book accurate. Although Pedro isn’t a dead ringer for comic book Reed, I think he can pull off a father figure that is somewhat arrogant/dick

As for Mads as Doom, I wouldn't complain if it ended up being him but my immediate impression is that Marvel missed the boat. The guy's pushing 60. For a character that will (God willing) be around for a good long while, I'm not sure I am keen on an old Doom.

Although maybe that wouldn't be a bad change of pace?

I also think Mads playing villains is passe at this point. One of the best actors working but I'm pretty bored with how he's typecast in American movies.
