We're a good 20 months away from the release date and we virtually no nothing about the film, of course there isn't much hype surrounding it. Still plenty of time to build awareness. I don't put much stock into random "this'll suck!" comments found elsewhere. I understand where they're coming from, but those sentiments can easily be overturned with the announcements of the cast, story, villain(s), set photos, trailers, etc.
The FF movie make me sad, but X-Men Origins just makes me angry, that was crap of the levels of The Last Airbender.
The overwhelming majority of FF fans want them to be rebooted into the MCU, and announcing a hot, young, interracial twentysomething cast is not going to overturn those sentiments. Marvel has elevated B level characters like Cap, Thor and Iron Man to A list movie properties, and the First Family deserves the star treatment that the MCU can provide. It would be a damn shame if FOX were to go ahead with this doomed to failure project solely to cling onto character rights, and I'm hoping yet another delay will eventually lead to cancellation.

Hoping for project's cancalation![]()

Them setting a date does mean that they are planning to make the film. It might fall apart for all I know but they are planning to make it right now and it's delusional to say otherwise.
I have alot of doubts. Fox would rather play poker with marvel and hope to receive twice what they're worth... Both are seeing who caves first. I guarantee it
First of all, they aren't setting a date. They set a date of March 6, 2015 back in 2012. Now they're saying: "Whoops, that's not going to happen. . . uh . . . how about June? Maybe we can do that."
Maybe they'll make it, maybe they won't, but it's clear they don't have enough interest in this property to commit, spend any money or, in any way indicate they take this film seriously.
I never said they wouldn't make the movie. I have been consistent in saying that they probably will make it, but I am certain from their actions up to this point that their level of commitment and interest in this property is minimal.
This I agree with. Them hoping to have a cohesive universe with Xmen and F4...............they are like night and day and really can't coexistence. Does anyone have any idea when the rights revert? How long did Daredevil take? Elektra was considered a DD movie.
That's kinda up in the air. It was assumed Daredevils rights were extended by Elektra, but apparently Fox do still have her, so I've no idea how that works.
But in theory, going by the DD/Elektra example it could be late 2014/early 2015. Maybe...
Unfortunately for us fans the suits of both companies are keeping these contract details all very hush hush.

Who knows at this point how these deals work.Does anyone have any idea when the rights revert? How long did Daredevil take? Elektra was considered a DD movie.
t:Yep they want to see Shield, Sam Jackson, Scar jo and and any other heroes that can take away from the Fantastic Four. Focus more on leading up to another Avengers film than the title characters. Yay!Hoping for project's cancalation![]()

And then perfect Disney/ Marvel with all the movies and properties they've made still haven't greenlit one film where the above the title lead isn't a white male.
Name one Marvel film from Fox that doesn't have a white male lead.
