Han?.....han? Lol. Yea right...he sucked....he never added anything and I think was only there to increase Asian audience. .....he rarely said anything either. ...

Also tokyo drift sucked
.....I dont know anyone in Chicago that liked it...actors sucked too.....boq wow? Gimme a break

Well if the people in Chicago don't like it...

And what's wrong with having an Asian male who isn't a stereotype for once.

I liked Han alright but I never understood the fascination with him, really.

He's the Brad Pitt from Ocean's 11 of the films. Always eating and very chill about everything :hehe:

One thing I will say that is cool about Han is that his character is apparently the same person from Better Luck Tomorrow. That's another great movie.

It was great to se him get his butt kicked in Fast 6, if only because they avoided the cliché that "all Asian people must be badass martial artists."

:hehe: I never thought about it like that. But wait, wasn't the guy kicking him and Tyrese's ass Asian, though?

Does that cancel everything out? :oldrazz:

The best part of 2 Fast 2 Furious is solely Tyrese and his lines. Sheer hilarity that I still say to my friends to this day.

Oh, and this:

Bowling isn't a separate fee?! I'm about to roll up in there one of these days.

Yea bowling is a separate fee ha. The movie is separate fee , dinner is separate fee, alcoholic drinks are a separate fee.

After watching the latest Mission Impossible trailer, I think it's time Ethan Hunt recruited Dominic Torreto and his crew for the ultimate crossover.

Best Buy has a special edition blu ray set of the 6 films for only $40 all week...

Watching the junket interviews has been kinda depressing. I knew it would be though.

That Best Buy deal sounds good.

I liked all of the characters to varying degrees. That cast had excellent chemistry. I didn't love Han but I liked him well enough.

I feel they underutilized Han in some way. He was the man in Tokyo Drift, but kinda got buried by much larger personalities in the sequels.

He's a very low key character. Like not a big talker, more of the casual dude.

Say what? I did not know this. Now that was a good movie.

Yeah, this was news to me maybe a year or so ago. There's even an easter egg reference in Fast Five when Gadot's character said he used to be a smoker and that's why he kept his hands busy all the time. He was a smoker in Better Luck Tomorrow and both movies were directed by the same guy. I believe he mentions this in the commentary for the movie as well. Cool stuff

I think Vin needs to keep dreaming about the Oscar thing, but he isn't wrong about this movie being huge. How much do you guys suppose it will make?

So in the lead up to Furious 7 I'm watching original films for the first time because I had only seen Fast 5 and 6. I gotta say it is truly fascinating going back to this series' beginnings and seeing where these characters were in 2001 versus now. I just watched the first 2 and really liked both of them. Eventhough the writing and story direction leaves.....a little to be desired its clear from the beginning that this series has always been about following these loveable characters. You cant help but like Paul Walker and Diesel and Tyrese and Jordana Brewster etc and want to root for them.

Now...I'm kinda dreading watching Tokyo Drift as I hear thats the black sheep of the series but...we'll see.

Don't dread it. Tokyo Drift really isn't bad at all. It's not a perfect film, but it's a perfectly enjoyable film.

I think it will do around 250 million in North America and 600+mil internationally. So 850+million in total.

Sounds like a good estimate to me.What are the chances of it crossing the billion mark? Do you think it has a wide enough appeal to hit that?
