I searched this forum but couldn't find a topic re: favorite album, so I decided to create one.

There are several albums I really love, like U2's "Joshua Tree", Pearl Jam's "Ten", etc. Recently, I've began to start listening to Liz Phair's debut album "Exit to Guyville" again. I brought this CD years ago, and it remains one of my favorites. "Mesmerize" is probably my favorite song in the album. I know that she has gone more pop and mainstream recently, but her first album is imo still the best. If you can, give it try, but be warned that the lyrics are explicit, and it deals with topics like sex and other more sensitive issues, so not recommended for underage listeners.

Bob Dylan - Freewheelin' Bob Dylan, Blonde On Blonde, Times They Are A Changin' and alot more Dylan.

The Beatles - Sgt Pepper, Rubber Soul, Abbey Road, Revolver, White Album.

Velvet Underground - Velvet Underground and Nico

I'll just go for a top 5 I guess (as of now at least)

4) NEGATIVE APPROACH - total recall
5) BAD BRAINS - black dots

Elton John - Captain Fantastic And The Brown Dirt Cowboy, Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, Songs From The West Coast, Don't Shoot Me, I'm Only The Piano Player

Billy Joel - The Stranger, Glass Houses, An Innocent Man, Songs In The Attic, The Nylon Curtain

Fair to Midland: Fables from a Mayfly: What I Tell You Three Times Is True

Such a unique sound.

Either The Beatles' Abbey Road or The Raconteurs' Consolers of the Lonely.

Metropolis Pt. 2: Scenes from a Memory by Dream Theater

A fellow FTM fan? No kidding. We're hard to come by.

Ever catch them live? I saw them open for Chevelle in 2007 & bought their cd immediately after.

Yeah I seen them live last winter, it was insane. Darroh Sudderth was climbing all over the set, hanging upside down in the rafters.

My brother actually caught the drummer’s drumstick when he threw it in the audience at the end. I have to go again next time they come by.

either the beatles revolver or velvet underground and nico.

Syd Barrett's 'The Madcap Laughs'

fav album by a band is probably The Rolling Stone's 'Exile on Main Street'

The Doors first album is up there too, but Exile has more songs.

Paranoid by Black Sabbath
Bad Hair Day by Weird Al Yankovic
The Better Life by 3 Doors Down
Goodbye Yellow Brick Road by Elton John

Pretty much sums up my taste in music.

Cool, man. I remember when the doors first opened for the show a couple of the guys were signing stuff and snapping pictures with fans. I didn't know who they were at the time, but as soon as they hit the stage I realized that they were part of the band. Pretty cool to see. Apparently they'll be releasing their latest album later this year. Let's keep our fingers crossed for that one.

Metallica - Master of Puppets, Death Magnetic

Tool - Lateralus, 10,000 Days

Joe Satriani - Professor Satchafunkilus..., Not of This Earth, Surfing With the Alien

Rodrigo Y Gabriela - Self Titled
