Hands down if you had a choice as to who your favorite portrayal of the Caped Crusader is who would it be?

Michael Keaton
Val Kilmer
George Clooney
Christian Bale
Ben Affleck

It's totally unfair for my man Batfleck, Bale and Keaton had 3 and 2 movies respectively to bring the Gotham Bat to life while Affleck has yet to appear in a Bat solo. Affleck was great in BvS but that can not compete with standalone flicks. I can judge when Batfleck stars in his own solo movie.

1. Bale
2. Keaton
3. Affleck
4. Kilmer
5. Clooney

Pretty sure this is the second time this polls been done and Affleck won the last one if I remember correctly.

Affleck gets my vote hands down as for who the best Batman is...certainly Affleck is much better than Bale

Bale is the best. Keaton was a decent Batman but a weak Bruce Wayne. Kilmer was a decent Bruce Wayne but a weak Batman. Clooney was weak at both but he had some good moments with Alfred and Dick. Affleck was just weak all around and had nothing I enjoyed, therefore he is the worst.

1. Bale - Great Batman, Good Bruce Wayne
2. Keaton - Great Batman, Decent Bruce Wayne
3. Affleck - Great Batman, Decent Bruce Wayne
4. Kilmer - Good Batman, Decent Bruce Wayne
5. Clooney - Laughable Batman, Decent Bruce Wayne

Tougher to make a great Bruce than a great Batman.

I'm sorry but (not sorry) Christian Bale is so boring to watch as Bruce Wayne and Batman.

"Why bats, Mr Wayne?"

"Bats frighten me." (Sounds bored as hell)

Yeah. Give me Keaton any day.

Keaton wasn't exactly fun to watch as Bruce Wayne either, but in truth, Bruce isn't supposed to be all that fun of a character anyway. More of a troubled, intelligent loner. I thought Bale captured Bruce Wayne's playboy persona far better than Keaton... though the Bruce Wayne in Burton's films wasn't really written that way.

Well Keaton didn't really have some public persona. He was pretty much the same as his private self. Affleck is the same thing. And the more i think about it, i'm fine with it for both versions. I still prefer Bale's public persona though. It made more sense and Bale was very entertaining in that role.

Bale is boring as Bruce? Give me a break. He was incredible in Begins. I love how people take ONE scene out of context and that's why he's dull as Bruce Wayne lol. ONE scene.

Easy to take a scene out of context and make it sound boring.

"This is something I have to do because nobody else can". Riveting character insight there.

That's part of what I love about Bale's performance. He's basically playing three characters; Batman, Bruce, and the public persona of "Bruce Wayne", the only true facade.

Affleck is the complete package in my eyes. Bale, Keaton and West complete the awesome foursome.

1. Keaton
2. Bale
3. Kilmer
4. West
5. Clooney
6. Affleck

I may put Ben second if he shows something different in his solo movie. As of now he's good but one dimensional.

I think he has what it takes to be the total package but the writing is holding him back. And himself too.

Christian Bale, especially in Batman Begins. He's not only my favorite live-action Batman, he's also on of my favorite movie characters in general. And while Clooney's Batman is the worst for obvious reasons, at least he's not the one with the worst characterization. That honor goes to Affleck's.
