Batman's return chase in TDKR is good. Though the instant transition to night annoys me a bit, hah.

I must be the only one who clearly saw that the Stock Exchange scene took place at the end of the day (Gotham does things differently..don't ask me why). It's clear during the stand-off the sun is setting and night is falling. By the time Batman shows up, it's night..but the whole scene was transistioning into night from the start. It was sunset. It wasn't bright as day outside when the cops showed up. Again, maybe it's just me who notices this..but it was cleary sunsetting during that scene and yeah, by the time Batman shows up..it's night. It's hard to show a full transition of day to night in film, but again...it was very clear to be sunsetting.

Yeah I noticed that it was definetely near dark during the Stock Exchange sequence.

It was later in the day, but it went from that to pitch black very quickly. Where you have to have your lights on to drive. Sunset isn't instant, but I guess it's just a movie and it doesn't matter too much.

Movie-magic! :)

Oh and I wish I could just vote for least favorite here so I could decide, that's TDK for me. Lots of cool moments in that chase but I think it's lacks the momentum and stake of let's say Begins and the last one in TDKR. I'm literally at the edge of my seat with those ones, even though I knew that Batman would be able to stop the bomb-truck in TDKR it still made me nervous, and that's great filmmaking! I really felt the stakes and the time-limit of it all.

The BB chase was cringe worthy. I hated all those "funny" cop scenes. They took the tension away from the scene. And not to mention how he loses the cops by just turning off the lights. The Joker chase in TDK was the best.

TDKR: The Bat/Catpod/HEMMT/Camo Tumblers Chase Scene for me.

I paid more attention to the final chase today and it really was the weakest chase Nolan has done IMO. It felt like it was going nowhere half the time.

TDK chase for me, on the basis of the reveal of the Batpod out the tumbler, "goodbye" that was great how that worked.

Technically it was going no where as in it had no finishing point. Batman and Catwoman were trying to get the truck to go a certain direction while Talia refused to.

The Joker chase scene was the most intense out of all of them and definitley the best edited.

The horroble helicopter crash i that scene kills the chase for me.

I had a hard time picking but i'm going with 'The Batman Returns Pod/GPD chase.' The "....well tell me what it looks like" line hurt the BB chase. TDKR final chase comes in second. The Bat is just to awesome to pass up.

BB Tumbler has always been the best. The lead in from the Arkham scene, the music and action are all top notch.

The chase in TDK is too boring for my tastes, and I really disliked the Batpod.

TDKR's chase is better than TDK's, but it fails to be as creative as the previous two. Catwoman's time on the Batpod is also better than how it was showcased in TDK.

I thought i was the only one who ound TDK Joker chase boring. Lame music to no music, too much tension building for a chase scene.

The final TDKR chase was the best. Intense, has some variety, you feel that something is at stake. And Catwoman's ass is a nice bonus.

This is tough as each chase has it's own ingredients that makes it stand out for me.

Without a Doubt it was when we were first introduced to the Tumbler outside of Arkum

Batman sez something allong the lines of "I got to get her back to my lab"

Commisioner sez " I'll get my car"

Batman yells at the commisioner "I Got Mine!"

commisioner sez 'I got get me one of those!"

then you hear the Tumbler ROAR!

Yes. That Joker chase scene will always be one of my favourites of the trilogy. Whenever I watch TDK, I can't wait for that scene to come up. It was perfect from start to finish. I loved the cop humour of "He's going to need something bigger to blow through here" "Is that a bazooka?!". I LOVED Batman stringing up the truck and Joker's look of confusion just as the truck flips over. Joker's "Come on!" as Batman rides towards him. Batman skidding off to avoid hitting the Joker. And finally, the reveal that Gordon's actually alive. I could watch this scene over and over again.

I'm torn. I can't even pick out a LEAST favorite. I have to say, Batman's return in TDKR really got me excited because I could almost feel the intimidation and fear it would cause to suddenly a very localized power outage that just keeps getting closer and closer, until we finally see the silhouette of Batman on the Batpod. Hopefully, the EMP device didn't kill everyone with pacemakers in the area.

In BB, I really liked the tumbler chase scene, in TDK, with the batpod chasing the Joker and in TDKR, the return of Batman with the batpod. Finally, I like all 3 :D

TDK is the best chase scene by far. Plus the truck flip is absolutely awesome. I'm also a real big fan of the Batman returns chase.

After giving it some thought I am going to have to go with the Batman returning chase from TDKR. The Joker truck chase is probably the most epically sprawling and the big TDKR finale has some of the coolest shots, whilst the BB Tumbler vs GCPD chase is a destructive classic, but the chase in TDKR gave me chills and it's pretty inventive as the first stealth chase I can recall lol.
