It's easy to remove the phrase "Comic Book" from the title, but some could include Mario & Luigi for being the super plumbers, and in so many games you play with a hero with superpowers, I only want to know of your better/best superhero game from comic books

Arkham Asylum and The Punisher game from last gen are the best ones that I can think of.

Arkham Asylum and Shattered Dimensions are my votes (and the second one should've been on the poll, but whatevs).

Haven't played Ultimate Destruction, but I heard it was awesome.

I don't think any superhero game comes close to the quality level of Batman: Arkham Asylum to be brutally honest.

I vote for Batman: Arkham Asylum and "Other" (Batman (NES), X-Men (arcade), X-Men (Genesis), Spider-Man and Venom: Maximum Carnage, Spider-Man (Playstation), Marvel vs. Capcom 1 and 2, and X-Men Legends 1 and 2.)

Batman Arkham Asylum, Marvel: Ultimate Alliance, X-Men Legends and I have to say I enjoyed X-Men Origins: Wolverine too.

Tops Favorites:

Batman AA
Hulk Ultimate Destruction (if you never had the pleasure, search this game out)
X-Men Legends
First Spider-man game on the PS.

Arkham Asylum > The rest.

Hulk: Ultimate Destruction was good though.

Thats because they dont. Arkham Asylum raised the bar for all superhero titles. A bar im not sure can be reached by another title(not including Arkham City)

Anybody remember that X-men game for the Sega Genisis? Loved that game.

Also the 4-player X-men arcade game. I have fond memories of playing that one. Wish I had one in my house.

Arkham Asylum
Spider-man PSX
Marvel vs. Capcom 2
Marvel Ultimate Alliance 1

I think that when there are 7 choices and Arkham Asylum has over 88% of the vote, that's saying something.

No superhero title has come close to matching the feel of the character the way Arkham Asylum did. It's just on it's own level and I don't see another game reaching that level that's not a sequel to Arkham Asylum. Spider-Man won't come close as long as he's with Activision, neither will the XMen or any other Activision owned licenses. I doubt Sega will be able to do much with the licenses they hold. We've already seen em fail twice with Iron Man.

We probably should have called this thread "Favorite Comic Book Superhero Games Besides Arkham Asylum and its Sequels" :oldrazz:

I was real sleepy when I voted, my name isn't among the ones to choose the first Activision Spider-Man game, instead I chose MK vs DCU. At least that one is a fun game

I love Arkham Asylum, easily a fine game, didn't feel like voting for that one cause it wins by miles

Why create a poll with so few options? My favorite isnt on there so my Other choice is X-men Legends 2

Captain America and the Avengers (arcade/Genesis) - all time favorite comicbook superhero game.

followed by

Marvel Ultimate Alliance
Hulk Ultimate Destruction
Batman AA
Marvel vs Capcom 2
X-Men Legends
X-Men (Genesis)
X-Men arcade

Batman easily but I'd also say X-Men Legends and X-Men Origins: Wolverine which was a great game and was finally a game that made you feel like Wolverine.

Batman: Arkham Asylum is by far my favorite. The Adventures of Batman & Robin for the SNES is another favorite of mine.

I chose some of the ones highlighted as the gems, didn't feel like typing in 30 odd other titles
MUA2 is just there as a companion for the first game

I personally love X Men legends just because it got all my usually ungeeky friends being geeky with me :)
