She was fabulous in Cloud Atlas...truly an underrated film and performance.

Anyway...yes. It's all in the make up and lighting. And I'm sorry but...the wig in X2 was blonde, not really white. She looked like BAPS.

lol, that's one of my guilty pleasures.

She actually looks more fierce there than she ever has as Storm. Lol I think it's the make up. Storm needs dramatic eye brow action and cat eyes. They just make Halle look so bland and plain. Her physique is incredible yet they cover it up in the bulky leather.

Maybe they were trying to hide her beauty so she seemed more rank and file with the other X-Men. Lord knows that Storm is too exotic to blend in in the comics.

Yeah, that's true. I know her X1 performance was criticized heavily but there was something about it that I preferred to the other movies. I mean, forget the lines. The way she carried herself, her posture, her chin up, it was totally badass. They shouldn't have given her the bangs, maybe.

I've always loved that X-Men (at least since the early 80's) has had an incredibly large ensemble of women. Since the 90's, many teams/titles have even had about a 50/50 split.

Which makes it such a shame that we're now one female less.

I have to say it's a toss up between Mystique and Kitty. Mystique was my favorite female character from First Class and Kitty was my favorite in X3. Storm grew a lot on me as the X-Men films progressed, and she looks quite badass in Days of Future Past, so I'm looking forward to seeing her in action again too. As for Rogue being cut from the film, it doesn't bother me too much as I always found her to be a bit annoying, especially in X3.

Well, considering the title of the poll, the lead defaults back to Storm. However, I am sure these deleted scenes will show up on the Blu-Ray/DVD copy. So Rogue will not be entirely lost.

One thing I'm thankful for as far as the X-Men franchise (both film and comics) goes, is the number of strong female characters/roles. I consider us lucky to have these action/sci-fi films that have more than just token female characters.

and can I just say I wish photoshop Rogue's face more (like softening up her face more), its just not her most flattering picture.
