What's your favorite fight??

Mine would have to honestly be the Odin and Thanos fight in Blood and Thunder

Odin was as badass as could be, and Thanos was the underdog, who surprisingly, held his own.

The all time best fight IMO was Thanos vs everyone in Infinity Gauntlet. A close second is Elektra vs Bullseye in DD #181.

Other Marvel classics:

Spider-Man vs Juggernaut in ASM #229-230
Wolverine vs Hulk in Incredible Hulk #340
Steve Rogers vs John Walker in Captain America #350

And I know this is a thread meant for Marvel and it's in the Marvel forum but I want to throw some DC one's out there......

Superman vs Batman in TDKR was the best ever. Supes and Doomsday is a classic. I also loved the Deathstroke vs Justice League fight in Identity Crisis.

Captain America vs. Giant Man (Ultimates 1 Pt 2: Homeland Security)

The final fight in Civil War was very exciting. I can't think of my faveourite though.

frank miller's mini Logan Vs Some samurai dude, epic

Going back to DC for a sec, I just want to throw Kingdom Come out there. Issue 4 had one of the best mega brawls with Superman vs Captain Marvel at the center of it all.

Okay i am game
when the red hulk jumped into space with Thor and... hahahaha I am kidding I hated that &^%$!

my vote for best fight ever goes to..
Count Nefaria was beating the ^%$# outta the avengers including Thor! just walloping the crap outta everybody! women and children! everybody!! My boy the vision was like" i know what i need to do!" flying up to the optimal distance necessary, He solidifies his density to diamond hardness and drop right on top of that fool count's Melon head! Knocking him the hell out!!!
Awesomeness incarnate! i give you

Thor v. Loki in Ultimates 2: Grand Theft America
Thor v. Ultimates in Ultimates 2: Gods and Monsters

That's backfired on him though. I wish I could find pics of it but waaaaaayyyy back in Hulk #300, The Vision and Hulk squared off and Vizh turned to diamond hard density. Hulk bopped him on the head and sent him miles straight down through the street.

Punisher vs. Pittsy in Punisher MAX #6 - Frank Castle battling a drugged-up, psychotic mafia enforcer in a brutal, bloody, raw fist-fight that lasted nearly an entire issue.

Also, Iron Man vs. the Mandarin in that super-long arc from Iron Man: Director of Shield five or so years ago. Silver Centurion armor vs. the Mandarin with surgically-implanted rings over the fate of the planet threatened by an airborne extremis virus. This may be my, in my opinion, the definitive Mandarin arc/showdown.

Thor vs. the Juggernaut in Thor vol. 1 #411-412 was a good one. It's the first time anything actually stops the allegedly unstoppable Juggernaut; Thor's god blast actually goes a step further and pushes him backward. It also features the first appearance of the New Warriors.

That's the first one that comes to mind, although there are plenty of other great fights.

That was an Acts of Vengeance related fight if I'm not mistaken. There were a lot of good match-ups during that event.

Yeah, Spider-Man with the Captain Universe powers vs. Magneto was another fun one from Acts.

Simonson's fight with Thor vs. the Midgard Serpent towards the end of his run is pretty awesome. I'm also a fan of Thor beating the crap out of Iron Man in the beginning of JMS' run, but that's more cathartic than anything.

Vision vs Hyperion, Golden Archer & Lady Lark

Hmmm... so many to choose from.

Spider-Man vs. the Lizard in Torment (Spider-Man 1-5)

Spider-Man vs. Harry Osborn in the final part of the Child Within (Spectacular Spider-Man 184 I believe)

Onslaught vs. the X-Men in the Onslaught: X-Men onshot that began that event.

The X-Men vs. Xorn in Planet X (concluding in New X-Men 150)

Nova vs. Annihilus in Annihilation 6

The Immortal Weapons vs. each other in the Immortal Iron Fist arc, the Seven Capitol Cities of Heaven.

Galactus vs. the Celestials in Earth X.

Spider-man vs. The Sinister Six (First Annual), Ditko's incredible work speaks for itself.

Daredevil vs. Bullseye (DD 181), despite some of his recent output I will forever love Frank Miller's work. This issue is one of the best of all time, I would have said the Elektra fight also but somebody mentioned it already.

Thor vs. Beta Ray Bill, I forget the issue number but this was an amazing battle of super powerful beings as portrayed in an incredibly awesome fashion by Mr. Walter Simonson.

Thor, Odin, and Loki vs. Surtur, can't remember this issue number either but yeah once again Walt Simionson is pretty great. A fight that actual warrants the use of the word epic in order to describe it.

Every fight scene in Immortal Iron Fist was amazingly well done; I should probably start reading Hawkeye considering IIF was the bomb.

Spider-man vs. Morlun: First go around before JMS went insane and decided to go from writing a great Spider-man run to a completely terrible one.

Hulk vs. Iron Man :World War Hulk # 1, John Romita Jr. drawing the Hulk just annihilating the Marvel Universe was pretty awesome.

Wolverine vs. Gorgan: John Romita Jr. to me is the definitive Marvel Comics artist of the modern era.

Daredevil vs. Bullseye from "Hardcore", that ***** got intense. Maybe my favorite moment from that run, but then again I still haven't read all the Bendis/Mallev issues yet.

Maybe I'll think of some more later but yeah, all amazing fights done by some really awesome creators.

Oh, Hercules vs. Ares in The Incredible Hercules was awesome. I love those fights with a whole ton of history working itself out in each blow.

Oh, just thought of one. It wasn't so much a battle as a chase but Magneto vs. the Red Skull in... I think it was Captain America 344. It was an Acts of Vengeance tie-in. I thought that was just a really interesting scene.

Cap #367  :yay:

That sounds about right. It's only one of two issues of Captain America that I still own (the other being his death after Civil War).
