Did that see any type of theatrical release? I think both this and the original were straight-to-video. Which in my mind, makes them exempt from such a distinction as being a "box office bomb". It was a cool movie, though! I liked that they tried to make it more violent and less campy, to make it more comparable to the manga. And the suit was a lot better the second time around. It looked a lot more like the comics than in the first movie.
