I'm sitting here watching Singin in the Rain because I'm old and I love Gene Kelly, especially at this age, yummy. :yay:

I saw the play on broadway when I was in HS and wasn't able to stop raving about it for a few years after.

They're missing Grease and Rocky Horror. IMDB sucks. And yet I still post there.

I'd imagine Grease and Rocky Horror didn't get a high enough score.

Obviously. It's kind of sad. Along with The Wizard Of Oz, they're pretty much my favortie musicals. We actually did Rocky Horror for a school play last year. It was blast. Even with the crappy PC editing. It was especially cool when Susan Sarandon showed up at the dress rehearsal. She really enjoyed it.

I'd also argue The Blues Brothers being a true musical. I really don't think it is.

We wrote her a letter asking if she'd be interested in attending the show. She came. She was very sweet and looks great for a woman of her age.

Damn,that's pretty cool.

Yeah, it was. It was also cool seeing the Midnight Show. Well, for the most part.

The Nightmare Before Christmas is wonderful, but I have a special place in my heart for the 2004 musical The Phantom of the Opera. Even if it is technically....wrong, in many aspects.:(

I said Mary Poppins, just because its a childhood classic. Although I must admit, Im suprised South Park is there and not Chicago or the Producers

The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway . . at least I think it qualifies :D

Rocky Horror Picture Show is my favourite!!

Whoa, wait....no Grease?! WTF:cmad:

Duck soup isnt a musical. Only a pair of songs in the movie. Keeping that theory, all the marx brothers are musicals. Same with blue brothers of the muppett movie.

My favourite of the list, singing in the rain, probably the best musical ever. Althought i loved wizard of oz, west side story, sound of music, an american in paris, cabaret, my fair lady, and all the classic musicals. I loved the Disney ones too.
