I wish they'd've held on it longer, though. I really wanted to see him BREAK. DOWN.

I disagree, but I wish there was another scene in between that and the next ("He's kinda hot"). Felt a bit weird going from Superman killing Zod to joking about satellites.

My favorite scene was one telegraphed a mile away, but I couldn't help but smile when it happened.

When Faora was ready to kill Colonel Hardy she said "A good death is its own reward", at that moment I knew that would come back to bite her later.

So when the "missile" is armed, and Faora comes to the cockpit and Meloni just casually goes "A good death is its own reward" and puts the plane on collision course, I almost applauded. That moment just worked for me.

Superman attempting to take off inside the terraforming beam, while Jenny Olsen and Perry White are about to die, it's all very tense and beautiful.

Heh. I had no idea about that particular change.

The scene of Krypton on the verge of exploding, and Lara thinking about her son, and saying something to the effect of, "Pick a better world than this one, Kal." Was pretty powerful.

supes vs faora by a million miles

This plus:

1. His first flight with the song Flight
2. And when he flew up through the World Ender Thingy
3. The end with kid Clark with the cape. A very good scene that was.

The fights were all impressive, but the fights did not make a film.

That scene where the soldiers are pointing their guns at superman after the battle of smallville and Colonel Hardy appears and says

"This man is not our enemy"

Smallville fight scene , I had a thought while i was watching foara beat those men like ragdolls. It reminded me of the fight system from batman arkham city especially the challenge beatdown maps, where your constantly button bashing combo's that have those rigid punching movements.

Zod reveal to the world was a moment that provokes the sence of dread which just kept me on the edge (love scene's like that)

Zod vs Superman was just brutal the bit that made me choke on my popcorn was where supes was flung through all those buildings and you just saw explosion exits , the zooming effect was used nicely here .

Finally the scene with young clark playing wearing the red cape, that was beautifully shot with the piano keys in the background it pulled at the heart strings .Actually all of the young clark scenes were great especially the one in class where his sences went overload.

One of my favorite scenes is when Hardy doesn't want the Kryptonians to take Lois, and Faora threatens to tell Zod. Hardy then says something like, "I don't care what you do." and gives her a hard idgaf stare after the threat. That man has balls.

My favourite scene has got to be the Metropolis Battle, you can really feel the turmoil of Zod's destroyed dream of reviving Krypton, and the turmoil between Kal-El wanting to embrace his Kryptonian roots vs. wanting to lead and represent the human race. Zod saying "You die or I do" was simply amazing because of the grim reality of the situation.
