I was curious, after thinking about it myself, what people think of the favorite shows of their youth.

Some of them I still love just as much as I did when I was a kid, others I can't stand now (to the point where I wondered what it was about them that ever made them appealing to me in the first place).

The ones I still love to this day:

Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman
Boy Meets World
Sailor Moon (
Dic Dub, season 1 and 2)

The ones I can't stand now:

Power Rangers (the old stuff is so unbearable to watch, it's just so bad. The current stuff is a great improvement from what I've seen...still cheesy though)
Sabrina The Teenage Witch (I loved this show when I watched it on TGIF as a kid...but now...it's so crappy and lame!)

How about you guys?

The ones that I still like:

Rocko's Modern Life

Ren and Stimpy

Batman The Animated Series

Superman The Animated Series

Gargoyles

Reboot

Pete and Pete

Batman Beyond

Dexter's Lab

Samurai Jack

Powerpuff Girls

Invader Zim

Rugrats

Animaniacs

Pinky and The Brain

Shows that, in retrospect, sucked:

Power Rangers

Pokemon

Most Disney Channel shows

Still Like:
-Three's Company
-Spider-Man 90's cartoon
-Boy Meets World
-Married With Children
-Tales From the Crypt
-Wings
-Growing Pains

-Hate:
-Who's the Boss
-21 Jump Street
-Baywatch
-Knight Rider

still like hanna barbeeras '60's superhero cartoons

I'd totally watch all of the shows that I liked as a child over again right now.....sure, I'm sure I'd like some better than others, but for nostalgic purposes I wouldn't mind.

Love:
Lois & Clark
Power Rangers
B:TAS
Spiderman 90's

Hate:
X-Men 90's

When is Reboot on? That was awesome.

YES, yes :woot: and when I was hip to them they were in like third run, One of my major gripes is that the youth don't even get reruns of Looney Tunes anymore.

Your all KIDS mannn:wow: .

Oh well-check it out, I came up grade school in the 80's when we got taught capitalism lessons every afternoon after school in the form of weekday cartoons. The characters had guns and they frequently fought each other on T.V. :cmad: No animated dramas about Jr. High or live actions shows about High School. Mattel and Hasbro RULED!

Anywho, My favorite shows were any Fox sitcom from the '80's thru mid '90's i.e. Boys will be Boys (Chaz and Booch) Women in Prison, Tracy Ulman.

-If you think NBC's Heroes is NEW Think again, There was an '80's version call 'Misfits of Science' where there again, were 4 superpowered beings that went on hour long A-Team like missions. There was an electric guy who put his hands together and made lightning, a brotha that pressed the back of his neck and shrank, and some chick-[I thik Courtney Cox] that could dissapear...and there was another that I can't remeber. WHERE'S ALL MY 80'S HEADS AT.
And Finally to this day Miami Vice is my favorite,

Forget CSI:Indianapolis, and CSI:Compton, Michael Mann had it right the first time w/ Coke dealears and pros rings.

Still love
Three's Company
Cosby Show
Mr.Belvedere
Perfect Strangers
CHiPs
Diff'rent Strokes

Loved but now hate
Dukes Of Hazzard (it's all a bunch of hill billies running from the Sheriff)

still like but find it boring at times
Knight Rider
Full House

shows never liked
Family Ties
Growing Pains

six million dollar man
bionic woman
hercules the legendary journeys
xena warrior princess

Wow I thought I was the only one who remembered this show!! Funny, 2 shows you mentioned, actors went on to marry eachother on friends. Matthew Perry was Chazz then went on to Chandler. Connection? He was basically the same character in both shows. Don't forget about one of the best shows from the 80's, CrimeStory!!!!!!!! Torrello, Ray Luca, Paulie! This show was awesome!

80's tv and some 90's tv was great....

Manimal is still the worst...

Crime Story I would buy on DVD

Another honorable mention was Bad Boys on NBC like '88 or so.
and my personal fav. The Highwaymen staring Jacko and some other dude(war the Australian revolution of the late '80's)
