The Criteria: A Superhero with two or more films in their respective film series. That includes both the original franchise and any reboots, prequels, etc.

Depending on the quality of Cap 3, that could eclipse the TDK trilogy for me personally.

So far, the top 4 of my favorite CBMs are Batman movies.

The prequel/reboot X-Men movies, FC and DoFP.

1. X-Men
2. Batman
3. Captain America
4. Iron Man
5. Blade
6. Wolverine
7. Spider-Man
8. Superman

The rest I haven't seen, only saw one movie, or only saw one decent movie.

Batman. Mainly for the TDK trilogy.

Spider-Man, mainly for the TASM series.

X-men for me 4 out of 6 movies being great is good going, though the TDKT is superb as well and I like about half of the Spidey and Supes' movies.

Batman. Batman 89, Returns, Begins and TDK are some of my favorite flicks.

Followed by Raimi's first two Spidey.

My favorite overall franchise is Batman. I enjoy 5 out of the 7 live action WB films, as well as the Adam West film and Mask of The Phantasm. At this point, The Dark Knight Trilogy in particular speaks for itself. With B89 and TDK, the Batman franchise not only changed CBMs once, but twice.

The X-Men franchise would be a close second.

Batman is the only series containing a minimum of 3 films I truly like. None of the others meets that criteria. Then again, it's also the longest with 7 films.

Got to go with Batman !

Somehow he's always compelling on screen, unless of course he's being played by george clooney -even Adam West was a better Batman.

Still love Burton's Bat films, almost as much as Nolan's.
I'll be pissed if Afleck is a letdown.

I have to say batman. Batman begins great, dark knight great but the worst of the 3 unpopular opinuion and dark knight rises best CBM ever! Spider man 1 good, sm 2 second best CBM ever and sm 3 while not bad should could have been a lot better. Batman easily because dark knight rises is so much better then sm3. Had sm 3 been has good has it looked this would be a tose up. I like more of the sm movies though has I like all 5 where with batman I really don't care for the old batmans much but all 3 in the dark knight trilogy are top 5 CBM to me and out of the top 5 2 are sm movies.

Batman, Spider-Man and X-Men all have three movies I like in them but I give it to Batman for having the strongest three with Chris Nolan trilogy.

There isn't a Batman film I don't enjoy. Even B&R is hilarious imo. Superman comes in second, with Cap in third.

You do realize using your criteria, the X-Men and Fantastic Four do not apply right? Wolverine would, but not the X-Men.

Our nitpicks, who art in message boards, pedantry be thy name.

Batman. None of the others come close.

Batman has had the best run, overall. Everything else falls short in comparison, IMHO.

X-Men. Batman's had three good movies with the TDK trilogy, but X-Men has had X1, X2, First Class, and DOFP.

Superman only has two good movies with the first two. Spider-Man only has two with the first two Raimi ones. The rest have one or none.
