I voted for E.T. His most wondrous film along with John Williams most wondrous score. The finale is unforgettable.

A hard poll but I went with Raiders.

Saving Private Ryan. Lincoln is a close second and Schindler's List is third.

It's not on the list, but my favorite is Duel. Talk about tense, that movie used to scare the crap out of me.

Spielberg makes great movies in many different tones and genres. I tend to prefer his more dramatic work.

Raiders or Jurassic park. I chose JP
Man he has made some amazing movies

He did such a great job with SPR. So much action, and yet I cared about every character.

Raiders of the Lost Ark

Spielberg has had a drop off since Saving Private Ryan. That's his last really popular movie, and that's not say all his post-Ryan work is bad, but he hasn't had an iconic movie in years. I do like Catch Me if Can and Lincoln quite a bit though.

It's a tough call for me. I almost went with Jurassic Park but I ended up voting for Raiders of the Lost Ark edging out Temple of Doom and Jaws. I liked Tin-Tin too but that is too recent for me to compare against the older work.

My favorite is Jurassic Park, but it certainly isn't his best. I'd give that honor to either Schindler's List or Saving Private Ryan.

Raiders of the Lost Ark. It is the adventure film; the perfect, definitive apex of the genre.

His most underrated, by the way, is Empire of the Sun. Such a brilliant yet often overlooked movie.

It never occurred to me that I've only seen 5 of his films...I'd have guessed more than that, for sure.

Jurassic Park would easily be my second favourite.

Jaw, is definitely number one. Maybe 15 years ago I would have said Jurassic Park, but now I'm a bit older and can appreciate the guy talk more, Jaws is easily my favorite. Second favorite though, surprisingly, is Close Encounters of the Third Kind.
