Favorite Superhero Symbol

I see wait which thing are you talking about lol? I'm talking about that eye thing he has! I know there's a little spark thing too.

The Green Lantern Symbol. Either the one Rayner had before he became Ion or Alan Scott's.
Alan Scott's lantern is badass. I didn't appreciate it for a long time, but now it's one of my favorite symbols. I go back and forth in my preference for his normal one and his Kingdom Come one.

Everytime I think of a Green Lantern movie, I always imagine David Morse as playing Alan Scott.

Well, he's certainly gigantic enough for the role. Alan's always been described and mostly shown as a pretty big guy.

He could pull it off. I like the idea of aging superheroes.

I know! It's like whenever you see it, you just know somebodies gonna get their ass kicked. That's the hallmark of a great symbol. The immediate expectation of ass kicking.

superman is certainly the best....so famous and recognisable!
and my favourite.

i also like captain britains lion on his shoulder, which is like the one he had on his original costume.

cap A's shiled is a symbol and a darn cool one too.

the dragon tattoo symbol of iron fist

The Union Jack "symbol" is pvery cool, but I don't you think you can really credit that one to the creators. ;)

The thread's an invitation for people to post their favourite Superhero symbol - doesnt say anything about it having to be an 'original creation'

:cwink:

EDIT:- actually, there more I think about it - it's more of an 'emblem' than a symbol' - so maybe it doesnt count?

Then again what's the difference?

:woot:

I think there's a pretty considerable difference. Still, that doesn't change the coolness of the costume design.

i didnt choose the union jack as its not a symbol as much just the national flag.
as cool as it is...and UJ is my favourite character too.

i also like the s.h.i.e.l.d symbol/emblem too.

That's clearly a UN run organization and completely unbaised towards America.
