Everyone always goes on about Heath Ledgers Joker, and I'm not saying he isn't completely radical but what I want to know is: aside from the Joker, who was your favourite villain from The Dark Knight trilogy?

R'as al Ghul.

He's my favorite Bat-Villain PERIOD, and Liam played him to perfection.

Same, honestly I'm tired of The Joker in general, don't get me wrong I love him but I think Snyder has done a great job in the comics by using him for two events and with no other appearances in other comics it seems.

It was great to see one of my favorite villains be played by one of my favorite actors. The sorta father-son relationship that went astray by the end of the film was great. Every line from Ra's was great. I have nothing bad to say about him. I lost it when he made that cameo in Rises. Hell, I was kinda hoping Nolan would say screw reality, bring in Lazarus pits, resurrect Ra's and be the villain for Rises.

Hardy's Bane. He's almost as good as Ledger's Joker to me

Easily Bane. The voice, his presence...everything was perfect. And Hardy was believably intimidating in the role, I was scared for Batman when they met face to face the first time. Honestly, while I do feel Heath's Joker is better, his Joker & Hardy's Bane are still in the same league imo.

From the way their portrayals panned out, it just seemed like they both put the same amount of thought & dedication into their character. The result each time was one of the best depictions for both villains.

Bane for me too but Crane is a close second and I'm surprised he doesn't get much love. Both the performance and the character depiction were great and I loved his cameos in the other movies as well. Also for some reason I know I'm in the minority but I always considered Scarecrow to be the main baddie in BB, with Ra's being the hidden villain like Talia in TDKR and (a little bit less but kinda) like Dent in TDK.

Scarecrow was great in Begins. I wish they used him more and made him a bigger threat.

That said, I'd also go with Bane. No other villain was such a physical threat to Batman.

I liked all the villians in the Nolan Bat-films. Selina is not really a villian I think, but I loved Hathaway's performance.

I voted Bane. Tom Hardy was awesome.

a bit of a toss-up between Bane and Ra's, but I went with the latter since he was in a better movie
