Bill Palmer has been writing a lot of Trump impeachment articles recently, and he did bring up Trump’s approval ratings. If Trump doesn’t improve the 30% approval rating he has now (unlikely), Palmer says he will be “blown out in 2020.”

Also is fairly certain Trump will be indicted, arrested and charged once he leaves office.

The impeachment of Donald Trump by the numbers
I hope he's right on either account.

Trump appoints people he expects to be his bodyguards to top positions. That's why he was so ****ed at Jeff Sessions and finally fired him for not jumping in front of him like Barr has.

That's also why he's saying the Supreme Court with his buddies Brett and Gorsuch should stop any impeachment.

He sees everybody as beneath him, including the judiciary and Congress.

Trump news - live: Joe Biden announces 2020 bid as Deutsche Bank hands over financial records on president's hotel deals

As Donald Trump continues to fight off further congressional investigations into his administration in the wake of the Mueller report, Joe Biden has formally announced his intention to run against the president in 2020.

Barack Obama's former vice-president, a man with almost half a century of experience in US politics, is widely tipped to be Mr Trump's most serious challenger at the polls, joining a crowded field of 20 Democratic candidates already confirmed for the race.

Despite digging in his heels in Washington, the president faces a new threat in his old stomping ground of New York City, where Deutsche Bank is beginning the process of handing over records of its dealings with Mr Trump to the state attorney-general, who is investigating allegations made by his ex-lawyer, Michael Cohen, that he inflated his assets to secure loans in order to bankroll his hotel business.

Every a-hole wants to be the one who brought Trump down. So many of them are just guys with no substance or plan.

It's a popularity contest, a potential PR boost and a potential career door opener. 90% of those people know they dont have a snowball's chance in hell.

People like to say we need more big parties in this country, but until this clown car popularity contest primary system is eliminated we cant afford to have anymore big parties. Just imagine 4 or 5 major parties having 20+ candidates each during a primary season. Madness.

Also, a way to sell books.

Lest we forget the 18 person clown car that was the GOP primary. I imagine it will cut down substantially by the end of summer.

I can't stand Trump and would love to see him in jail for the rest of his life, but the Palmer Report is pretty much wishful thinking. It has little to no credibility.

How do Pennsylvania voters feel about Trump for 2020? - CNN Video

It’s this sort of stuff that will make it really difficult for the Dems to beat Trump. There are several articles of former Obama supporters who are voted Trump and will do it again because of the economy

How morally bankrupt are voters becoming? So it’s ok to have an abhorrent ass clown with no morals.. a racist, spineless rat as a leader so long as there is this false perception that he’s bringing in the dough?

The US economy is doing well Because of how hard US employees are working and because of a variety of govt policies. This misperception that Trump is the only one doing things to have the US above a 3% growth rate is so simple-minded

People will gladly let the world go to hell as long as the economy is strong. They'll clutch their dollar bills until the end, glad that their 401k is doing well.

The economy is doing well because Trump is giving away money and charging it to our credit card. Of course corporations are going to take advantage of a huge tax windfall, but it's not sustainable. We're trading long term stability for short term success, and that seems to be how Trump operates. He's got no long term view... it's all based on the quarterly reports. But our deficit is ballooning, and it's only a matter of time until inflation kicks in and interest rates hike up. And when that happens, we'll have spent our rainy day funds. It won't be as easy to save our economy from catastrophe as it was in '08, cause we're spending all our money. Trump doesn't care about the potential future consequences... all he cares about his current popularity. And the red hats just go right along with him... gleefully cheering as we slowly but surely ride off the cliff.

Pretty much, and i hate this more than anything.
That he takes credit for the economy when it were the american people that worked so very hard for years to come this far.
The people took all the punches and all the setbacks and kept working hard to make it...and then this orange ****face comes in and claims he has done something?

No, **** no...because of him the GDP was at 2.2% at a time experts years ago said it would be at 3.5%.
He has held back the economy activly with dumb decisions.

Another day, another speech where he denigrates public servants and law enforcement.

I met a guy this week who I talked politics with. Cool guy. Down to earth, fun, friendly, level headed. And he supports Trump... modestly... but still supports him. If Trump can get a regular joe like that... buckle up folks... it seems very likely that he's in a good position to get re-elected at this point.

Americans think the economy is great and that Trump is the main reason. As long as it stays that way, I think his odds are very good. Both Biden and Bernie would have a hard time beating him. Elizabeth Warren - no way. Buttigeg - I don't think so; conservatives won't go for it. Kamala Harris could be palatable to conservatives, but liberals won't go for her. This is looking very bad honestly.
