I get that, but I don't think such a bill would be constitutional. It is beyond the legislative authority of regular legislation. It is either an internal procedure issue, which the body can set its own procedure rules with respect to, or it is a constitutional matter than requires more.

Yeah, no one with a shred of real familiarity with our political history is going to give any of you the benefit of the doubt. If you all wanna be resentful, go ahead. Most of us are quite far removed from caring about your feelings. None of the reasons to suppport Trump hold water or make sense. And we aren't obligated to pretend anymore that it's possible you as a group actually believe in an iota of what you've been screaming at the top of your lungs for four decades about.
