Superman has five movies. FIVE! We HULK fans have one. In his five movie run, Supes has done some strong stuff. Lifting an island sized mass in the new movie is easily the strongest thing he's done out of them all. HULK's strongest feat has been throwing a tank. What would you like to see the HULK do to prove that he's "THE STRONGEST ONE THERE IS!"

Personally I'd like to see him lift a mountain much like he did in Secret Wars. He could lift it just enough to throw it on the Abomination. Then later we could have a news broadcast saying how the HULK has dropped mountain "so and so" on the monster called the Abomination. Then say that experts estimate the total weight being over 150 billion tons as to give a nod to the secret wars issue. Either that or have the HULK slam the ground during a fight with Abom showing dirt rock and tree being lifted from the ground because of the impact. Then swith to a scene in China where it's a peaceful, calm, quiet night. Then all the sudden every car alarm goes off along with a few broken windows from the impact. Which he did do in a battle with Thor in a HULK comic.

Nah, I'd save the mountain lifting for Hulk 3

I wouldn't mind seeing...let's say alien inveder with a city sized ship invading earth. Hulk then in the end grabs it all the way to the sun or something like that....I'm not sure but I still think the mountain thing should be saved for Hulk 3.

Aliens? I don't think that kind of story would work for a live action film. An animated straight to DVD film maybe. But not for TIH. I do like the idea of him lifting a huge ship of some sort though and throwing it into orbit.

Gotta go with that same Secret Wars-style mountain lift.

It's one of Hulk's classic feats of strength in the comics, and besides that.... just imagine how amazing that scene could look in a movie. Panning up to the clouds and seeing a whole damn mountain.... rumbling. Shaking. And all the while knowing how comparably tiny that being that's lifting it up from underneath is.

The mountain lift would be cool, but I don't think it can happen in the new movie. In the comic the mountain was dropped on the Hulk. I don't see that scenario happening in TIH. I for one would be impressed with the Hulk lifting 2 tanks by the barrels in each hand and smashing the Abomination inbetween the two tanks. But I definately agree that we need to see some incredible feats of strenght from the HULK!!

I'd actually prefer he not do anything "comic booky" or corny, like lifting a mountain or punching an earthquake into China, that's going to make everyone groan and laugh, not prove how strong he is. Picking up a bus in each hand and slamming them into abomination, even lifting a small building maybe, but keep it somewhat believable, lifting stuff that a creature of that size could maybe lift, nothing "150 billion tons".

Well the only thing I keep thinking is the feat of strength they could show is Hulk hitting the abomination so hard it causes shockwaves that destroys the whole surrounding area.

Of course, a few other feats would be nice as well ;) though I must say as much of a tribute the mountain holding could be I do not see what type of premis could create such a situation.

YOU STOLE MY IDEA!!!!!! I said that on this board a year ago for the sequel. But after seeing SR (good movie BTW) i think Hulk needs to go a little bit stronger. Maybe at the end, he can punch Abomination so hard he flies through like, 10 buildings.

Well, could a tank actually be held by the barrels like that? I figured the momentum is what kept the barrel from busting right off in the first. The weight of the tank is then sent to through the entire barrel and to the back of the tank because of it's spinning. If it's just held in the air the weight would then be just pulled straight down and would cause the barrel to break or bend.

It'd be the difference of breaking a pencil in half, or trying to do so straight down the middle, from lead to eraser.

Good point Dacman, but since this is TIH, and since I'm hoping the military is still in the new movie, why not create HULKBUSTER tanks that have stronger barrels? Perfect for the HULK to SMASH things with!!!

My father who's read HULK since issue 1 was disappointed with the first film due to : 1 He wasn't really the "HULK smash!" HULK he grew up with and...
2 He never did his thunder clap

I think all of HULK's signature moves need to be in this new movie. Most of them are strenght moves. The double fisted ground shaker in the first movie was cool, but it should have done more damage. Hulk is billed as the strongest mortal to ever walk the earth. It's time to live up to that.

I agree, he needs to use all of his signature moves.

I would like to see a pilot fly a jet at full speed straight into the Hulk, the pilot ejects and there is a big explosion and lots of smoke, and then we just see the Hulk walk out unhurt.

Also, a punch that sends Abomination through several empty buildings would be cool.

Thunderclap would be cool(using it just as Abom charges in to attack).

That would be a dream come true!!!

I Hope the the makers of The Incredible Hulk read this post and learn something!

It kills me that the studio's and directors wont take chances by portraying the charcters like they are in the comics. They think that the public wont accept it,but what they dont understand is,thats exactly what the public wants...stay true to the source.

I'd like to see a scene where the Hulk attempt to take the oil plug off of my old '93 Mazda Protege without visegrips.

Well they really need t up the ante in TIH, some of the things Superman did in SR made Hulk look like a puppy.

one of the reasons why i think SR was ok insted of being great, that whole thing with throwing that island into outer space was WAY over the top IMO.
