This thread is to discuss the feats and power displays in Infinity War, all character included good and bad.

Iron Man slamming that giant piece of ship onto Thanos.

Those deadly surgical strings used by Ebony Maw

Everything with SW. in the film I looked over to my friend and said she should have been down fighting in Wakanda and laughed when Okoye echod my sentiments

What about Thor taking the full brunt of a star going supernova to restart the forge? Plus restarting it.

Iron Man's bleeding edge armor. Need to see the movie again, but it's shield was able to withstand the power stone's blast. He was able to cut Thanos.

Iron Man had some great feats vs Thanos and the BO.

My boy Falcon didn't get to do much. But WM was letting loose his arsenal.

Top feats, per character include:

Thanos, takes this of course, because he has the biggest feats:

- creative use of the reality stone, during the Knowhere sequence, loved that he turned Quill's gun blasts into bubbles.

- grabbing the moon of titan and throwing bits of it at Tony.

- total smackdown of the Hulk

- using the time stone to travel back to the moment before Wanda destroys the mind gem.

- the snap, wiping out half the universe.

Then there's everyone else.

1. Thor: he gets the most impressive feats of any hero, wounding Thanos - the most impressive feat, of any in the film.

Zapping the monster army, getting fried by the entire power of a star while holding open the lens.
And, managing to still be funny, while hanging out with the GOTG.

2. Tony: takes on Thanos 1 on 1, and draws blood. That's impressive. He doesn't do that well agains Cull obsidian, but survives.

3. Wanda: destroying the mind stone and holding off Thanos at the same time ! The entire Scotland fight vs the Black Order, where she shows some real power and skill.

4. Strange: okay, he gets taken out by Ebony Maw, but otherwise he's pretty awesome - he goes 1 on 1 with Thanos, and of course loses but doesn't get stabbed with his own weapon - and...crimson bands of cyttorak!

Of course, the cloak of levitation lends a hand...or hem, or whatever, and takes out Drax !

Strange's second best feat is using the time gem to look into the future (to work out how the writers are going to bring back the heroes in the sequel) which is why he surrenders the time stone so easily, to save Stark.

However, his most impressive feat is holding his own, as an actor, onscreen with RDJ - not easy !

5. Ebony maw: has a bunch of cool telekinesis feats, choking out Strange and throwing lots of stuff around.

Personally my favorite power display in the movie, the whole restaring the forge thing gave Thor HUGE feats.

Let me break it down, Thor threw a small spacecraft thousands of feet easily and resisted it's thruster as the anchor while it pulled those HUGE skycraper sized arms of the forge. By Thor being the anchor, it means he has to have similar strength as pulling the skycraper sized arm itself wow! Not to mention actually opening the door to the star was the whole purpose of the GIGANTIC space forge and Thor did it BY HIMSELF which is far and away the best strength feat in the entire MCU.

There was a huge durability feat when he was being dragged against the forge and his body was tearing through the metal and it didn't leave a SCRATCH on Thor. It also showed that Thor can survive and breath in outer space (technically the Guardians scene early showed it as well) and also he survived in space when Hela threw him out of the bifrost in Ragnarok but this was more clear.

But resisting the heat from a Neutron Star was by far the most impressive durability feat in the MCU and probably CBM history. Only thing that rivals it is Surfer surviving the planet busting Galactus explosion in Fantastic Four: Rise of The Silver Surfer.

From Heroes:
-Thor managing to restart the Solar Forge with pure brute strength and durability. Amazing strength to start up a planet sized object is required. Suprised they displayed that level of power from Thor before they did Hulk.

-Thor surviving being the olive in a martini of pure harnessed star energy. Him not immediately being disintegrated and stripped of his skin is a miracle in itself. High display of durability.

-Banner surviving the New York battle with barely a scratch. I swear at some point a ca and some trees landed in him and he was almost unscathed. Prolly lil Hulk helping there but still. Honorable mention of durability. :funny:

-Spidey stopping Culls hammer

-Spidey actually putting the beats on Thanks and making him stumble.

-Iron Man making Thanos take a knee and bleed.

-Iron Man dropping a giant-man sized chunk of the ship on Thanos

-Hulk actually pushing Thanks back. (I'll give it to the big guy he's clearly embarrassed)

-Scarlet Witch pushing those giant razor wheel things off the ground.

-Thor's area clear.

-Panther knocking Cull back.

-Strange actually putting up a challenge to Thanos without once using the Time Stone.

-Drax being able to hold Thanos down.

-Cap actually surviving his meetin with Thanos.

-Widow putting up a fight against Proxima (trust me based on comics that should be a feat)

-Thor's hammer literally being unfazed by the Gauntlet and still striking Thanos.

Those are all the feats of strength I can think of. I wouldn't count anything from War Machine or Falcon because they were just mowing down baddies with weapons like they always do. Same for Bucky as well. I can't count Vision, he practically got his honey handed to him the entire film. And no one else involved is relevant enough to list in terms feats and power displays.

As for the Villains:

-Thanos breaking the Hulk down with his fists(btw to clarify this dies not make Hulk weaker, it just means Thanos is a better fighter and was able to get the upperhand and incapacitated Hulk before Hulk could do damage. He's assessed the threat was strong and disabled it before it could become a problem a massive display of not only strength but strategic ability. Had to get that off my chest lol)

-Thanos beating Iron faster than his fancy new suit could come up with ways to save him.

-Thanos beating Thor within an inch of his life.

-Thanos healing from having anitem that defied the infinity stones blast planted in his chest.

-Thanos in general was just a power house tbh.

-Cull Obsidian nearly wrecking Iron Man.

-Ebony Maw wrecking Strange.

-Cull Obsidian nearly wrecking the Hulk-Buster.

-Glaive taking down Vision everytime he came into contact with him with little to no effort. Vision was really being embarrassed in this film.

Thor, Thanos and Stark had the best feats in my mind. For all the reasons I've already seen stated. When Thanos punched the moon I was like damn...

I was also happy to see Rhodey cut loose with his arsenal. He's always been underutilized but it was cool to see him have a significant role in the battle.

Rhodey during the Wakanda battle, OMG OMG OMG he finally lived up to the War Machine name. One of my favorite feats in the movie, not to mention Strange and Iron Man wow their battle with Ebony Maw and Cull Obsidian in New York and their battle with Thanos on Titan.

I'm drooling just thinking about it all.

I kinda wish we got more of WM unleashing the FIRE. But it was still pretty damn good.

Apparently BW is incredibly enhanced. I had no idea she was a demi-god.

Wanda lifting those huge Outrider vehicles was insane.

Cull Obsidian beating up on Iron Man and Spider-Man.

I caught it during the final fight, but did Thanos create like a mini black hole when he was fighting Strange on Titan? It was fast because they were just throwing random things at each other, but wasn't sure.

It sure it was some type of Vortex but it evaporated pretty fast it was definitely badass.

He definitely made the COOLEST looking uses of the Gauntlet on Titan than any other scene in the movie

Nat staying on her feet after blocking a direct hit from Proxima is a pretty good feat :oldrazz:

Honestly it is no lie, that's very impressive and Okoye did the same thing.

Thanos chopping Hulk in the throat.

Yea it's not really a power feat... but they've all been listed now. But that chop really impressed me because it shows the film makers KNOW Thanos. People seem to forget he is also a master martial artist who specialises in pressure point attacks etc.
