Sequels Felicia Hardy might really be in SM4

Patrick Stewart as Vulture can work but it's obvious that they'll go with Ben Kingsley.

Sounds more like Gwen Stacy to me.

Well, I'm thinking they might put Felecia Haryd in there, but if they do, she probably won't become Black Cat.

Surely it's more likely to be Gwen Stacey.

Unless they were just using her for Spiderman 3...
I suppose she's already been wasted on that so it could be Felicia.

Heres hoping.

I hope they get Kirsten back. Just for continuity's sake. And she can do good with a good script and character arc.

Maybe the unnamed female is Felicia Hardy, but I also hope she's just a cameo or side character and doesn't ever become the Black Cat. It's too complicated to try to do on film, and too much like Catwoman.

And Patrick Stewart as Vulture is kind of dumb. First of all, he's Professor Xavier in the hugely successful X-Men franchise, but on top of that, he's kind of too regal and sophisticated, whereas Adrian Toomes has this desperation about him that someone like Sir Ben Kingsley would nail. Kingsley could also do regal, don't get me wrong, but he can do a desperate, kind of pathetic, American electronics engineer like nobody's business.

Maybe they meant Lizard, as in Dylan Baker. Or maybe it's Kraven the Hunter, and to me the only choice is Gerard Butler.

So a Black Cat setup... obviously... they won't recast Gwen Stacy, so unless Bryce comes back, it will be Felicia IMO. I know Raimi wanted to do Vulture in SM3 as well... I don't think they will go with the Lizard Kraven combo if that's the case... damn shame.

If Patrick Stewart hasn't already been Prof X I'd be all for him playing the Vulture. I'm not a fan of the same actor playing two different Marvel characters.

BLACK CAT is a worst idea than putting VENOM in SPIDER-MAN 3!

If they go ahead with putting Black Cat the next film(s), it will further concludes that Sony, Raimi and MARVEL are wrong for the Spider-Man movies. That they have no idea what the hell they're doing, and the fact that they lack focus, direction and a clear vision for these films. Choosing the wrong villain(s) for SM4 could mean delving deeper into a broken franchise creatively--and spitting out the Batman and Robin type films that ruined the Batman franchise.

Sadly, although I hate the character Black Cat, or should I say CATWOMAN. I think Felicia Hardy would be a good addition. Unfortunately, we've seen so many damn LOVE TRIANGLES, where could they possibly go with the character that we've haven't seen yet? The Spider-Man filmmakers are not smart enough, to add a new female character without making her apart of a freakin' love triangle. There has been a love triangle in every film released. At what point do these writers realize that people don't want to see the exact same story/movie within every movie of a franchise. We want to see something creatively different, that takes elements from the comics, that's turned into a complex and mature film.

no one ever said anything about black cat being in it. and even if black cat does who knows with the right story and characterization or whatever she could be what spidey needs to be great again.

she was great in the sm2 videogame and on spectacular spider-man so please people stop talking about her or how she's bad for the movie.

and about this love interest/love triangles thing she dosen't even have to be into peter the two of them could be good friends. she could be with flash thompson if they bring him back in the next installment and if black cat does come aboard it really wouldn't be a love triangle becuz peter will have mj and black cat will be flirtin with spidey

Exactly. Why is it obvious that Stewart would play the Vulture? Ben Kingsley was practically signed on to play the part in Spidey 3.

Same here.

The back to back sequels actually work now with Gwen's character. You'll have "3" and "4" to develop a stronger story arc around the character. While I don't think she'll be a love interest for Pete perse' I think she will be a best friend for him. MJ will probably be ALWAYS his girl but I couldn't see how he wouldn't get a little bit of flirtation or kicks in with Felicia/Black Cat.

"Broken franchise"?

I personally would hope they leave her out unless MJ isn't returning. Other then that , I don't think we need yet another love triangle.
