🇺🇸 Fell Out of a Coconut Tree, It's Kamalot: The Kamala Harris Thread

US News
I have to say, seeing the “USA” chants popping up at the Harris/Walz rallies has been awesome to see.

I’ve long felt that on 9/11, everybody was a patriot for a brief, fleeting moment. And then basically ever since the Iraq war, the right has seemingly had a monopoly on patriotism (optically at least), and we needed to start reclaiming it as a part of pushing back against their backwards ideas and start looking forward again. The fact that it’s starting to happen feels significant to me.

Been a fun weekend watching the Maga sheep continue to meltdown, now they are claiming the events are all AI generated and those crowds are fake, their evidence is that there is no reflection on Air Force Twos engine, if you actually look, the plane is at an angle, there wouldnt be a reflection of the hanger or crowd, i saw this once yesterday while scrolling through instragram videos, Traitor Trump must have seen it as he went on a rant, as one poster put it, it take 15 seconds to look up the rally and see thousands of posts from the crowd from multiple angles and areas showing the crowd was very real, but Maga is pushing a conspiracy theory that all her rallies are fake, one guy claiming no one can prove to him they are real as he cant find videos, as i said, it took me 15 seconds, Ive been fighting with Maga yesterday telling them its real, but they absolutly refuse to believe she is drawing such crowds while Trump when he is at a rally is whining to half empty buildings, also, something to consider as to why Trump isnt campaigning, he can not land or go to several cities as he owes millions to Police and cities for events he held in the past and has refused to pay, including several major cities in Arizona, one of whom turned him over to a collections agency, some cities he owes as much as $600,000, he is running our of places to go that he isnt grifting
I had no idea about that. Very awesome to hear haha. The dude is doing barely anything, a few rants at deserted rallies and that’s it. That isn’t how you change the strong momentum from the opposition. Also the problem in calling something AI is that it’s a compliment when the lie gets exposed - no one is calling recent Trump event photos AI as if you were going to fake them you’d make them look full. :funny:

The real scandal is how many IQ points we've collectively lost as a country thanks to Fox News.
Hopefully that’ll go back up within the next 20 years or so once all of these people have died off or have gotten too old to properly function as a contributing member of society.

So, in the first major misstep, Bill is going to be giving a speech at the DNC. I feel this is more of the party forcing him on us, but goddamnit.

I don't think it's going to be a big deal. I doubt anyone will be changing their vote one way or another based on a DNC speaker who isn't on the ticket. Obamas could be the exceptions, but, even then, I kinda doubt it.

He looked shakey 8 years ago IIRC.
You remember correctly, but, hell, they're gonna have Biden speak too. :funny:

Love Bill or Hate him, he is still a major force and a former President of the united States, having him speak is a no brainer.

Love him or not, he’s still the winningest Democratic president since the Johnson landslide of ‘64, I guess.

Exactly, he was extremly popular as president and still carries alot of the when he campaigns for people, he is an excellent speaker as is Obama, and both are important players in the democratic party, you notice no former presidents spoke for Trump

It would raise more questions if he weren't invited to speak. The Clintons, in general, do have their base of support even now and it's probably best to give him a slot, let him have his say, and move on.

Jimmy Carter's son is coming to speak on his behalf so technically all living previous Democratic Presidents will be there.
