FIFA Women's World Cup France 2019™

Englad v Vanina Correa (one man team)

Excellent England performance and attack! 1 - 0 Don't know where the rest of Arg's team was, but their goalie Correa deserves a medal, for the pounding England brought to that goal , that she only let one in, is outdating.

Really happy about that England win! Awesome goal too.

So I have been keeping up. Watching more games then I expected. Sadly won't be able to catch the Canada game today as it is on FS2, which we don't get. I am really curious about the knock out stages and even as an American, I am hoping for someone else to win. It is so cringy to listen to coverage of the men's and women's team over here, and it doesn't help how arrogant both teams can come off.

Poor Chile abt to get trounced!

US Women can at least back up their arrogance, US men's team not so much LOL!
How is your Spanish? You get Telemundo? They are a bit more neutral as far as that.
Different POV, In fact they are already celebrating Chile's girls, pretty much just for being there.:D
Also for a fun change you get to hear all the American names, hysterically butchered.

Now we’re at the business end of the tournament!

Norway and Australia both looked good. Unlucky for Australia going out on pens.

England 3 up against Cameroon.

The Cameroon women's national team is a disgrace. WTF was that?

Good on England for keeping their composure. I would have lost my shirt and started drop kicking fools for that bullshirt.

Yeah, crazy behaviour. They were unlucky with marginal offsides in favour of England and against them but the decisions were still right and one of their players should definitely have been sent off.

Them acting like children was one thing. It was embarrassing as heck. But apparently they spit on one of the English players, and I saw them get away with fouls that could have led to some serious injuries.

Yeah, hopefully there is some disciplinary fallout as it isn’t a good advert for the women’s game on the biggest stage.

France vs Brazil was another entertaining match, although again with plenty of VAR incidents. The WC is really getting into gear now.

US early score off penalty.

Spain quickly equalize...

Is this really the first anyone scored on US?

Surprising, equalizer from Spain.
Honestly seems like the first time US has faced any substantial adversary here.
Although off Goal keeper error, they were quick to capitalize off it, Spain have shown some resilience so far.

Half time US 1 - 1 Spain
Great game so far.

Spain US looks like it could be interesting. Yes, the first time the US are having to fight a bit.
