I love seeing variations of studio logos. The 100th anniversary Universal logo is my favorite at the moment. Very slick and up-to-date but doesn't forget its past.
Joe Theatres does point out a pet peeve of mine: company logos that are feature length. I'm talking about the logos that appear after the main studio's. It'll start with a cartoon and then morph into the company's name or something. They go on way too long and are kind of an awkward silence in a theater setting.
MGM is a true classic, but it may be one I like the least of the big old studios.
Warner Bros is great when they let the actual film affect the logo. Harry Potter, Batman and Green Lantern did that, just to mention some.
Disney isn't shy about doing custom logos for different movies, but for some reason this one took me surprise, and I just thought it was awesome. Makes me sad Tron isn't a bigger thing.

The Fox logo has never really meant anything to me unless it was playing before Star Wars or the Alien series. Alien 3 in particular for obvious reasons. I love how uncomfortable and discordant the music becomes.

I'm so glad they updated their logo. I honestly kind of hated the previous one, it always just looked kind of garish to my eye. Love the new one though.

I actually wanted to post their earlier logo with the page-flipping sound, which I like better than the new one, but I couldn't find a decent one. The new one is fine though.

When they had the grainy 20th Century Fox logo when you booted up Alien Isolation it was so cool. Made the game feel like a real part of the Alien movies.
20th Century Fox, LucasFilm and the current Marvel Studios one for sure. When that thing kicks in after the cold open of GotG, I get chills every time. So perfectly placed. And even when the Lucasfilm logo appears before a trailer, I get chills. Because it almost always means Star Wars, haha.
As far as newer, smaller companies go, I like Film District's quite a bit:
Also, Morgan Creek because they used Kamen's score for Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves as their theme tune, and it always gets me all nostalgic:
I really like the pre-integrated New Line Cinema logo. Whenever the integratedWB/New Line has a film that doesn't open silently or with the film's musical score, I liked WB's signature music transitioning to the New Line music as the logo comes apart and reforms.
I've also taken a shine to Paramount's new opening with Michael Giacchino's new signature theme as the stars come out of the sky, skim the water, and surround the mountain.
And Universal's anniversary logo is beautiful, taking a little bit of the studio's logo history but keeping Jerry Goldsmith's signature theme.
Oh and can't leave out the Newman fanfare for 20th Century Fox.
A question: Wasn't it reported that Disney was making a new fanfare that will replace 20th Century Fox's to appear before the new Star Wars film?
And it's funny that 20th Century Fox opening logo was the most loved here based on the polls yet the studio itself was the most hated... or was it still up to this day?

Ghostbusters the Video Game did the same thing they played the Columbia Pictures logo from the 80s with the Elmer Bernstien music (that really eerie music that played over it back in 84), which really made it feel more like a movie than a game.
