Simple enough!

OKIES,

All the little animals - It's an all brit film shot in cornwall, yet is only avaliable for region 1?

Logan's run- the classic sci-fi film that was a major pre-cursor to the matrix, why is this not avaliable all over the world?

JLA animated series 2 - Speaks for itself...

BTAS series 2+ - An award winning cartoon featuring an icon of modern day life, yet only the first series is avaliable over here, madness!!!

I'll post more as they come to me, GRRRRR

I wouldn't mind "Freddy's Nightmares" on Region 1. I know that there is a volume of it that was released on Region 2 or something.

Series 2 is out. I have had it for a few months now. I believe it's a HMV exclusive. I do want the rest of the series made available though.

Thundercats, I cannot believe they have yet to release this over here.

well it lowers the quality and can damage the discs, as it uses two diff types of laser on each disc instead of one. And i'm pretty damn happy with my nice expensive cinema system

wow .. i still cant belive there are people in europe that havnet made there dvd players "Multi regional" yet..
here (norway) most shops ask you when you buy a dvd player if you want it stuck on region 2 or "Multi regional"

well it's a double edged sword, watch anything you want, but they won't last as long, and the power shift can damage the TV too! I'm happy with higher wuality, less quantity

that bull**** :P so then a DVD rom on your computer must really damage the disks.. after all .. you have to set the region on them when you install them.. and you can change it what like 5 times before you have to use pirate software ...

The computer can use different lasers, DVD players use both at once.

Damage the disks????? HAHAHAHAHA!

No, they are engineer codes pre-set by manufactures before they are shipped out to each region they don't put a different laser in all the dvd players thats just crazy the only difference in the disks are PAL and NSTC.

ahh yes riiiight .. then what about dvd players that ate region free from the factory ... like most are before they are locked to the region of the nation its heddet for

it's to do with the power differences. We have different current in UK, so the power of the laser is diffferent, by using a diff power, it can damage the disks

No, the speed at which they are spun and read are the same no matter what the voltage is going into the dvd player. Ive been using a multi regional dvd player i brought and unlocked for years and my dvds are all fine.

well the multi regions i've purchased over here are quite different! I guess the technological curb is slighty one sided. For a £350 DVd player, you expect it to be half decent. It destroyed about 6 DVD's in a couple of months, so i decided, maybe not!

You dont buy a multi regional dvd player thats just a waste of money, you buy a normal region 2 dvd player and unlock it making it region 0 to play everything. looks like you were paying for cheap **** and its ****ing your disks up nothing to do with regions

And i also thought that some of you may have found some of these hidden somewhere, but expecting people to hel is obviously a lost cause these days....

guilty as charged, but I don't wanna get chipped, too much stigma attached and i'm cautious, only need a few dvd's to be released, all the little animals had nothing to do with america, why not release it in england

Who said anything about chips? not me... all you do is for example, load the dvd player with no disk press menu hit 1234 0 and your dvd player will be multi regional, you just find the code that relates to your make and model and your away.... simple
