You always see threads or polls about what is the best/worst movie you've ever seen.

I thought I would try to get reactions on films which just didn't do anything for you either way.

I'll kick off with "Hancock"

The characters did not engage with me at all and I honestly did not care what happened to any of them by the end. Effects were fairly good but not enough to drag it out of the doldrums for me.

The entire Twilight series does nothing for me & is completely boring. Plus, it gives vampires & werewolves a bad name.

I'll go with an unpopular one, for entertainment's sake: Requiem For A Dream.

I don't hate it. It's bravely acted and has flourishes of directoral genius, but for the most part, it pushed so hard to get a reaction that I just tuned out. When I should have been going "EEEWWW!!!!" I was going "why doesn't he just shoot up in the other arm? Dumbass."

Not a bad movie, but one which never hit me like it did everyone else. Meh.

Death Proof
halfway through the damn movie it starts over.

The Harry Potter series.

It's good for what it is, but it's just pretty "meh" to me. It's no LotR/Star Wars.

Avatar. It starts off really promising, but just gets boring.

I saw some Twilight films (one voluntarily, one I was forced to watch) and I was expecting the movies to be terrible. In the end, I was completely "whatever". They were bad, but no where near as horrible as the detractors made me believe. They have no substance and the characters are forgettable. One film had no action and the other one couldn't make up for the paper-thin romantics that filled the rest of the film.

I recently watched Horrible Bosses. It was far from the worst comedy I ever saw (one being Hall Pass), but it did not keep my interest. I think a movie is doing something wrong when during the last 30 minutes I stop looking at the screen yet keep the movie playing in the background.

Dare I say, Inception. Bad movie? I'll just say I tried watching it three times. Twice it put me to sleep. The third I just wanted it to be over with. OK, I guess Inception for me falls in the category of bad film if I couldn't stop squirming in my seat like a child who desperately wants to leave church and go home and play games.

Inception
Sucker Punch
X-Men 2

Sherlock Holmes. Didn't hate it, but just something off about it.

Harry Potter, particularly the last two movies. Tedious at times. Not helped by the ending which was a foregone conclusion to everyone (even those who didn't read the books).

Most of the Marvel movies. Especially the latest ones, Captain America and Thor. I'm sure I'll feel that way about the Avengers too.

Inception
Avatar
Twilight franchise
X-Men First Class
Midnight in Paris
Blade
All the Star Wars movies
All the Indiana Jones movies

I wonder which of those i'll get slated for the most :p
