For me, It has to be The Bourne Identity.
My favorite film, and I never got to she in a theater. *le sigh*
another one would have to be ?Underworld AND Underworld II
I still have yet to see Underworld II( I was too busy when it came out), but I fell in love with Underworld from the first time I saw it on DVD.

Pulp Fiction.

Missed the original run, and missed the month-long midnight showings 2 years ago.

It and Monty Python and the Holy Grail are the 2 movies I want to see on the big screen but haven't been able too.

None :)

If I don't see the movies I want to see in theatres, I have no problem waiting for the DVD

If you lived in Belfast, you'd be able to see MPatHG as well as The Princess Bride on the big screen al fresco at the start of September.

:D

I saw Pulp Fiction in the theater back in 94,I was like wow that was awesome!

Crash (2005)
Syriana

For the most part I try and see everything in the theater, once in awhile I miss something.

The rundown. This would have been a blast at the theater, but I never saw it there only on dvd.

I regret not seeing a lot of movies at the theater, but I mostly regret not seeing Spider-Man 1 at the theater.:( Got to see Spider-Man 2 at the drive-in though.

Sucks to live in a small town. I didn't see it until DVD myself.

Awesome flick, though.

Lost In Translation
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
The Bourne Supremacy

I downloaded all three of these because it took forever for them to get released overseas. After I'd seen them I was ashamed for not having waited and paid to see them because they were so good. I did buy them all on DVD as soon as they were released instead of waiting for the price to go down, as a sort of apology.

Donnie Darko : I blame my newspaper's film critic for that one. He made it sound like a kiddie flick.

Batman
Batman Returns

I was pretty young when these came out (not to mention Belgium made a fool of itself by being the only country in the world that gave Batman an R rating), but I still wished I'd seen them in theatres. It's even worse considering I DID see Batman & Robin when it came out.

Honestly, I can't say the theater experience means enough to me to be really disappointed about not seeing something there. Still, the biggest would probably have to be The Fellowship of the Ring. I would have loved to have seen BATMAN in theaters, but considering I was only 1 at the time, it really wouldn't make much difference. :o

I wish I could've seen the Star Wars (holy trilogy) movies in theatres.

You didn't see them in '97?

I ended up missing ROTJ with that release. But, oddly, I've never been all that broken up about it.

I saw A New Hope and Jedi.

But, can you imagine how cool it would have been to see them when they first came out?

(With Han shooting first)

I was so psyched about seeing this film after having read the novel. It never got a theatrical release over here though and I had to check it out on DVD. I was pretty disappointed however, so it was probably for the best.
