OMG!!! I couldn't believe it!! lol. I'm so excited for it. Can't wait. It pissed me off on G4 they couldn't show the vid up close at the request of microsoft. WTF!?

It will definitely help the sales in Japan. But, most people in Japan who don't want a 360 already have a PS3 and can get the game that way, so I don't see it having a huge impact.

This will however sway those people in other countries who are still on the fence, and who really like JRPGs.

Unless they have something ****ing amazing to counteract losing one of their key exclusive franchise...if NOT their key exclusive franchise, they are dead meat. I love my PS3, but geez...the exclusive situation is bad. They really really really needed FF13.

Early next year I was going to re-buy a PS3 due to this game..but since it'll be on 360 now, I think my hand is tipped and I'll end up with a 360 instead.

I can't believe everyone saying how sony fanboys are unbelievable. It's the 306 fanboys who (every blog, site, I've been on so far) are out of control. My gosh I wish people weren't so competitive and nasty about VIDEO GAMES. lol I hope that FF13 versus is still coming on the PS3.

As someone who sees merit in all three systems, I think you are being easy on the reactions that come out of PS supporters. 360 fanboys are just as crazy, but this is a huge blow to Sony, because this was one of their huge guns....a game that was as important as MGS4 when it comes to having a leg up on Microsoft.

I personally think it's great, since games like this should be enjoyed by as meny people as possible.

Yea I feel bad for sony fans. They thought, even though no one told them that this would have happened, that the PS3's best game was either MGS4 or FF13, and it still could be but now its like a stab at the back for them. But what ever, I have all three systems and cannot wait to own this game.

I sure as hell didn't see this coming, I felt excited when the shot of the main character came on the screen and I instantly knew. Wow I am excited for this and I wonder if the same will happen to FF versus 13....

Yea that's exactly what I meant. It caught me off guard but then it made sense afterwards. It's true square jumps to all systems and it would be a *huge* profit for sales of this game in the U.S. This was another game that could have sold more PS3 units...

It still will sell PS3 units..The game just feels more natural being on a system called Playstation, IMO. It's where I first bought a Final Fantasy game and where I will continue to buy them.
