I vote for The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (it's followed closely by Fellowship of the Ring and The Two Towers).

Out of these movies, Return of the King, but The Aviator was better than any film on the list.

Kind of low on votes considering the popularity of other polls.

As much fun as it is to rag on the Academy, deservedly much of the time, there's not a monumental widespread aesthetic difference in the poll and the Academy's nominees. Of the 10 movies that won the polls, 6 were Best Picture nominated (including 3 winners) and 1 was Best Foreign Language Film nominated.

More than half of the choices are great movies, but I didn't have any trouble picking No Country For Old Men. I think it's the overall best made movie, and the most profound.

I voted for "The Dark knight" just because I thoroughly enjoyed it and affected me more than the other films. I can't say whether it was a better film cinematically than the rest of the candidates, I guess it is not, but for me as an avid moviegoer, yes it is the best!!
