I just played the Wii for the first time today. There's a Wii display at the mall near my house with 6 kiosks. One for the Rayman game, Legend of Zelda, Tony Hawk: Downhill Jam and 2 for Wii Sports. I got to play Wii Sports, Zelda and Excite Truck. I have to say I loved Wii Sports. Only the tennis was playable but it was responsive and fun. As I feared I did notice that even after 5 minutes of play, my wrist was starting to tire out. I cant see myself having that system and using it for long periods of time. That would be a problem with me. For Zelda, well I couldnt get used to the controls. I think thats something that needs to be messed with longer to get a better feel for it but the controls were too out there for me. Id rather play that using the Gamecube controller if given the choice. Excite Truck seemed cool but the controls were way too sensitive. Is there a way to tone that down. The trucks would turn too much with the slightest movements. Nice concept though. All in all, actually playing it did peak my interest and I was intrigued but I dont see myself getting one. I suprisingly loved Wii Sports the most and didnt think I would since it looks to be the most generic and least spectacular game but it was fun, mainly bc it actually works how it should
