And I need some suggestions.

I know what I want to go in - the viral stuff that I really love (GT 1-3, Philly hunt card, Joker flyer, burned Dent button, Joker dollar, Philly hunt press note, CFB bumper sticker, voter registration card and a screenshot of our submission to RDK) but I'm unsure as to how to get it all to stick without messing it up (usuing damaging tape, glue etc.)

Anyone have any shadowbox experience? What works best but is non-abrasive to paper and the like?

Why dont you go to a craft store and ask for advice? There are adhesives that are non-damaging, specifically for shadow boxes......

It all depends on how you want the items to look in the box. We do custom framing here all the time including shadow boxes. Some people just want it stuck, some want it raised off the back, which would involve adhering it to backing the mounting it. There's also matting they can sandwich together with the hole cut out in the front to hold it in palce without using any adhesive whatsoever. It all depends on personal preference, if you are mounting them permanently or planning on taking them out later, and your budget. Hope this helps a little.

EDIT: I'd say we'd do it for you, but after it's done, I don't trust UPS to get it back to you unbroken.

I asked about a shadowbox awhile ago in another thread, for the reel i have. I didnt even know what one was, or what kind of store to look for one around here, but I want a really nice one to showcase the reel and the 2 cards I got from the Chicago trailer event. Been watching this thread to hopefully see more info : )

Sorry I don't have any advice because I have never made a shadow box before but it does sound like a really great idea.

Please post a pic after you get it make, thanks.

Anybody have any ideas as to what to do with the newspapers? They're so big, I can't display them with my other little items.

You know for those of you who do not want to stick things in a shadow box.. why not just purchase a 27x40 poster frame from walmart for 20.00.. then just put everything flat in there like your newspapers and cards.. make sure it is really pressed down good and put the cardboard backing on it. Then hang that on the wall... I did that to a lot of my stuff since I didn't want to stick anything to my items.

A shadow box sounds really cool.

I think I'll try and put one together myself, I mean I have a lot of stuff to put in it too.
