Being that this site dedicated to the love of things like comic books and video games, which do you think is probably more difficult to find; a hot woman who likes comic books or a hot woman who likes video games?

Comics, since they're considered more retro. Video Games are much newer & thus have that hip quality that so many fine females are concerned about(being hip & modern, that is).

Hell, I like comics, and I am a damn supermodel

it's easy to find hot women that think it's cute and geeky but to find them that actualy like thats stuff...well...

It's not that you have to find someone who likes them, you just have to find a girl who will accept that's what you love and won't mock you for it. If you're really lucky she'll even learn to get into them

It's worked with my girlfriends and my Red Sox/Superman/Politics/Transformers/Movie obsession. :D

I know a couple of girls who like comics and video games.

But it is rare to find. I love it when I find someone of the opposite sex with interests simular to mine. Makes things newer.:o

The key is to have other interests as well, then you don't need to find a hot girl that's in to comics and/or video games, you just find a hot girl. My wife wasn't in to either of those things, but I'm slowly wearing her down on the comics. But there are trade-offs, I now watch more reality tv then I'd care to.

Your hopeless :o and you just need a girl. PERIOD.

Most girls I know, merely tolarate fandom. It's ok to them I guess, but they aren't really into it one way or the other.

Every girl I've ever dated ranged from not interested to tolerated and at most a little interested.

My girlfriend/apartment mate shares my movie obbsession. She doesn't mind video games, but she's very uncoordinated and thus can't play too many of them. She's good at Wii stuff and old-school things like Mario so that's fun. And she's fine with comics, even though i don't read them too often anymore. She took a course on Graphic Novels last year at Rutgers. And she liked that I was majoring in Cartooning at SVA, though I switched to illustration without any complaints. :yay:

I'd love to take that class. New Brunswick?

I love both.:) Get me a new gaming system & you won't find me on here for a couple of days.:o

Yeah, It focused mostly on independent comics though, so Don't expect any superheros.
So not really DC/Marvel or not even something like Ronin or V for Vendetta?

Nah, more like Sacco and Spiegleman stuff. I guess since it's the first Graphic Novel class at Rutgers, they wanted to stick to the more literary stuff. It's rare to find a class that talks about DC/Marvel or Graphic novels like V or Watchmen. At my school there are plenty of classes, especially in the cartooning department.

That's been my experience as well. My best friend got me into independent comics. (I also know quite a few girls into anime and manga, but that's probably not quite what you wanted, LOL.) I just can't wrap my head around most of the extensive DC/Marvel worlds, except for Batman because Bats is a badass. :woot: Although, I can appreciate the skills of the artists even when I think that most of them need to stick with just one focal point a page. :oldrazz:

There were two high-school age girls I saw in Borders a while ago, looking through a Marvel comic and trying to identify all the characters. ("This is ___!" "No, it must be ____, look what he has on!") It was really funny.

I haven't met any girls who are into hardcore gaming. I know a girl (the one seriously in anime) who likes the cutesy games, but...yeah, no hardcore gamers.

I think there are more women who like comics than you think. Maybe you just need to redefine your definition of "hot." My best friend and I aren't "cover girl in Maxim" hot, but we're pretty ok. Someone like Rosario Dawson only comes along one per billion women, I think.

I've been into comics for like 17 years now, and I've never seen a hot chick in a comic store,I've seen them at comic conventions, but it's usually their boyfriend/husband dragging them there.Where do girls go to buy their comics? Meet some hot gamer girls though.

In my experience, it's not hard to find a girl who likes the novelty of comic book characters, but once you really start talking about comics, like really TALK, they're like:

"...yeah."

I care more about the hot than I do about what they like.

Right now, anyway.

I'm into comics, a lot. But my husband isn't at all. He's a gamer, and I don't like video games. So we're kind of mismatched in that department.

Most of the females I've known, including my own sister that are into gaming and comics are of the goth/indie/emo variety, and are remotely cute, but not that drop dead gorgeous types we fantasize about. It's called leagues, brotha man. The only other plus is that they usually have snarky, cynical attitudes in general and are a laugh and a half to discuss **** with. If you're into talking, that is. If you're into just sex, gotta look elsewhere big time.

well it depends on what you think is hot.

Besides, while it's cool to have a girlfriend who's into the same things, sometimes it's better to have seperate interests. I mean honestly, who does World War Hulk #2 and Sideshow Spider-Man really belong to?

So I guess you are saying that the women on here are not hot?:wow: ARE YOU BLIND?:oldrazz:
