This was one of the two hero belts used for my film "The Dark Knight Project", although a fan film, you can consider it "screen used". www.darkknightproject.com. It's a hybrid, utilizing links from one designer and the front buckle from another.
The belt has earth magnets in all the links, so that capsule and box accessories with metal strips on the back of them will automatically attach and stay secure. The back plates connect with 6 round earth magnets (3 on each side). The links are connected with wire that runs through holes drilled in the tops and bottom of each link and which then loops back to the rear plates. Flexible and secure, it won't accidently break as some belts with pins possibly could. It's also accessorized with real metal bolts of various sizes in the front "C" links and back plates.
It's about 42" in diameter so measure down when taking your armor and undersuit into consideration with the fit.
Most raw kits go for $300 or more, I'd like to get $300 + shipping OBO for this finished belt.
