firefox slowing down

is this happening to anyone else, i downloaded the newest FF update and it runs as slow as hell menu can takes ages to pop up and videos go jerky.

i've ran avg, spybot and malware bytes all got nothing, and ie runs everything fine

i'm thinking it's just the new update but it can be selective and happen right at the start or after i've been on awhile

are you running 3.6 or 3.6.2? I recently got the 3.6.2 upgrade since it fixed some buggy stuff I was seeing with regular 3.6.

it seems i'm not alone and there a large thread on this on firefoxs forums, i downgraded to 3.5.9, and all seems to work now

yeah, i had the 3.6 beta, did not like how it was acting all clunky and buggy. I uninstalled it and re installed 3.5.8 and had no problems. then I saw that people said on forums that had problems with the 3.6 were fine since they updated to 3.6.2 which i have and have had no problems (knock on wood).
