I think she looks like a "Cat Woman". She has the burglar feel to her. Like a Cat Burgler would. She doesn't need ears or crazy helmets to make her Cat Woman.

They knew people would be taking crappy spy pics for the internet of the stunt double in this exact version of the costume so they just released an official pic of anne (in this version of the costume) to trump those spy pics. If the scene they were shooting had her driving out in the cowl, they would have released official pics of her in the cowl. Why give away more than you need to when the spy pics people would snap wouldn't show the full costume anyway?

Then they attached the selina_kyle tag to the photo so people would understand this is incomplete, yet here we are not understanding that.

But like I said the problem is the main pages of web sites say this is her as Catwoman. So people will be expecting Catwoman. Even Yahoo says its Catwoman. For the people that do not go to boards & visit sites like Yahoo they are saying its Catwoman. So people will complain that it is ****** due to the sites headlines

Your lack of insight of the issue is astounding and pitiful. Ok, by this logic Nolan should put Batman back in his pre-suit burglar get up. Lets take his batcave, alfred, the tumbler, and for good measure we will make him a hobo. Still Batman? Nope. You can only take so much away from a character before the character ceases to exist. Why call her Catwoman if she doesn't look like Catwoman? She is Catwoman in name only which is a waste of a character.

true but that is a risk they have to take. Think about it. Create the excitement for the full costume now, a year in advance, or create even more when people see the film (or if it is shown in a later trailer) and see the full costume. Like i said they only had to reveal what the set pics would flood the internet with, and they did that. No problem with them trumping the spy pics yet still not revealing their whole hand.

they can release the pic and tag it as selina kyle. how do u expect WB to restrict how other sites display the pic? Its been said before and ignored, people see selina kyle and immediately go "ooo catwoman!" and there is no getting around that. just be pateint the movie is a year away.
