Wow. So far there's about 2.3 million views. People are loving it, and a lot of them think it's a movie! thats awesome.

I think this shows how successful Flash can be if it were a movie. Im pretty sure there would be way more views if there was a trailer for a Flash movie thats connected to Snyders JL.

Just watched it. The Flash TV show looks smarter and funnier
than Smallville, but with great action sequences. Gustin looked
a bit young to me at first, but having seen the Arrow episodes
he's in, and this trailer, I think he's the right man for the role.

I'm genuinely excited about it, and I was a fan of the Flash tv
series back in '91. Hope John Wesley Shipp is cast as
    Jay Garrick.

Trailer was great, sure it gives away all the good bits in the
pilot, but still looking forward to it.

Looks like the Flash series hits the ground running !

I have probably watched this trailer more times than I've watched any other trailer. Even the trailer for Winter Soldier, which had a great trailer.

WOW! That looks totally amazing. I watched the teaser trailer during the Arrow finale, but the five minute trailer really gets me excited. I just hope and pray they don't start the show with another voice over. That gets so damn old after a while.

I hope the episodes after the pilot just start with the "My name's Barry Allen, and I'm the fastest man alive." Short, simple, and old school.

Yeah, I'm with that. I don't understand the creators desire to use a voice over. They did that with The Tomorrow People too and it was No Bueno.

Going on this trailer alone, there's going to be one hell of a .gif thread once this series starts.

Well,I'm pretty late with a review, but here goes:
I'm generally very pleased with it.Grant looks great and the show looks like a lot of fun.

I guess I've got some concerns though:

Admittedly, that was a long trailer with 95% of it being about Barry.I'm hoping that the cost of the Flash FX doesn't limit him to like 2 minutes of costume time per episode.

I'm not sure who the guy in the wheelchair is.But I was hoping Jay (please be JWS,pretty please!) would be his mentor.I'm not sure I like the idea of Flash having a big supporting cast.Works for Arrow, but I hope they don't force unneeded screen time to the two techie kids.

Looks like Weather Wizard will find out Barry is Flash.I hope that's not the case where everybody and their brother knows who he is.

Weather Wizard has no costume.I hope it's not a case of "freak of the week-no costume-gets locked up-the end".

I'm still a little dubious as to the relationship with Iris. The whole "We're like foster siblings, but we really want to be more" type thing is very awkward. You'd think they'd have learned something about the "ick factor" after the weird Diggle & his sister-in-law relationship that just floundered along the first season of Arrow before dying an unceremonious death the next year.

I don't want to sound like a downer on it though.I'm really looking forward to the show!:woot:

Apparently the pilot episode had a massive budget, that's why the effects look good for TV standards. As far as everything else, I'm okay with it. I'm not blown away. Looks like the standard CW fare. Iris is going to be the show's Laurel/Lana. Abs galore. Wouldn't be surprised if Barry gets shipped with the Caitlin and the show plays that up. Suit looks okay. Fits with the more lighthearted, goofy tone of the show.

It's cheesy, but that was expected. I expect far, far better from an actual Flash film on the big screen. Especially with Quicksilver being reported to be the breakout character in X-men according to the early reviews, DC needs to put Flash on top.

Yeah that's fine. My issue is that the CW shows tend to bend over backwards to write their shows for the shippers. The Arrow S2 finale was an example of this. "Unthinkable" ended up referring to 'Olicity' of all things, and the episode included Oliver/Felicity teasing including that end scene on the beach, forced Roy/Thea melodrama, Slade still wound up over Shado, Slade going after Oliver's true love, Diggle baby drama in the middle of a missile attack... etc

It's a bit too much. They even intentionally wrote the episode in a way to get the social media attention of the shippers. The "I love you" line came up about 3 or 4 times in the episode, and the producers tweeted that it would be a line from the finale, in order to get people guessing who would say those words.

Considering how ******* terrible babies are with choosing convenient times to cause chaos, that one's perfectly within reason :o

Aside from the fact that they most likeyly spoiled the end of the episode, I thought the trailer was fantastic. Can't wait to see the whole thing.

Little disappointed Shipp isn't playing Jay Garrick. I mean, that's fine, but come on CW. When you release a statement that says "mystery role", and then just cast him as the dad, you're just ****ing with us.

Jay Garrick wouldn't make sense in the Arrow-verse. It's not like we had public super-powered heroes before Barry, unless you count Roy.

They'll probably include Jay on the show someday though. During a point where Barry discovers the ability to cross into other realities and universes.

Would be hilarious if they found a way to have him cross into the CW Smallville universe. Apparently that verse is still on DC's radar with their Smallville comic.

That would actually be pretty cool. You can do quite a bit with his powers and the speed force.

I think Jay would be pretty easy even without alternate worlds. Just say he was an urban legend that people eventually forgot about.
