Tell me, would anyone here like to see a solo Flash animated series prior to the making of a live action movie. I think it would be interesting to see the Flash, animated, on the small screen away from the Justice League to add to the fanbase of those who may not be to familiar with the Flash. Sounds like a smart business choice if you ask me, although Im not shocked Warner Bro's haven't thought of it.

Same goes for Green Lantern and Wonder Women!

I'd watch a Flash solo series. I'd also watch solo animated series' of Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Aquaman and even Captain Marvel (and I've heard talk of a Captain Marvel animated series). I would prefer however to get away from the minimalist block figure animation of later DCAU projects and try to get back to at least a more semi-realistic type animation with actual muscle definition as opposed to just big blocky arms.

And will the next animated Superman series PLEASE give Supes some eyes? I hate those black dots they always stick him with.

Maybe to coincide with the film, but not prior to the film's release. The reason being is that people would have formed an opinion on the character after watching the animated skein (just like STAS, Smallville, et. al) and may be dissappointed when the film comes out different.

oh god yes, as long as it's set in the DCAU, prior to Justice League

My thoughts exactly. God knows we desperately need another DCAU cartoon. It's sad to think that after almost 15 year of being on air, there are no new shows currently airing.

A sad reminder that all good things must come to an end. :csad:

Michael Rosenbaum is the best character actor the WB universe as a whole has. Utilize him until he bleeds.

I wouldn't necessarily say the "best" but he's definitely one of the most versatile. He has a million different voices he uses for different characters. He's definitely the definitive Flash (though that's not saying much because none of the other flash actors have really been of any real note, live action OR animated) and he of course is a really good Lex.... I guess what I'm saying is... yeah, get him to do it again.

Hell, if Ryan Reynolds decides he doesn't want the role anymore, or if WB decides he's just not what they're looking for. Rosenbaum would make a hell of a live action Flash, too. WITH hair of course, especially since he's leaving Smallville after next season so I'm sure he'll be all too happy to finally grow it out again.

Long live the Rosenbaum!

don't let kevin conroy here you say that, he'd *****slap you...and so would i to...

Heh that's what I was going to say too until I realized that Kevin Conroy has as far as I know, only done Batman for WB, whereas Rosenbaum played numerous roles in the DCAU before and during his time as The Flash, and also co-stars in one of their biggest live action series as well.

I second that. In fact, I think Rosenbaum, with some extra muscle, is SUPERIOR to Ryan Reynolds for the role of Wally West/The Flash!!

i'd be over the moon if they created any animated series mentioned in this thread, personally i'd prefer a Green Lantern series, but anything is better than nothing.

I would watch anything DC puts out pretty much as long as the story is written well unlike Legion or League of Super Heroes. Don't berate me for asking but DCAU stands for what exactly? I know the U stands for Universe but can someone tell me what they stand for?

Correct me if I'm wrong as well, anyone else, but I believe it stands for DC Animated Universe.

NO! though, i'd like 2 see Wonder Woman nude....lol.

I'd love to see DC do what Marvel is currently doing with some of their B-List heroes (Dr Strange, Iron Man,) , and release animated feature films of Green Lantern, The Flash, Nightwing, perhaps even an Aquaman film.

Are you like 10 years old? :whatever:

If done right this could be one hell of a show. I loved the CBS series despite its short run. And in my opinion Flash's rogues gallery surpasses that of Batman's and Spider-Man's and I would love to see Timm's take on the rogues. We've already seen Captain Cold, Mirror Master, Captain Boomerang, Weather Wizard, Grodd and The Trickster in Justice League, so why can't we have a show that focuses on these characters? Throw The Top, Zoom, Piper, Heatwave and Kadabra in the mix, and this could be a really good tv series.

Place it AFTER JLU and I'd be happy. I want to see him and Linda get together and not this will they won't they crap like Clark and Lois on Smallville (we all know they'll end up together but we're not going to see it, kind of thing). Flash barely even knew she existed in JLU. She was just another reporter to him. Develop the relationship. Have him gain more control over the speed force eventually.

I honestly think that Dini is making a big mistake retiring the DCAU. There's so much more that can be done it can be...Disney big.

Is it really Dini's call or is it Warner Brother managing demands?

I've wanted a GL cartoon since Kyle rayner appeared on S:TAS.
