Civil War Fly Like An Eagle...err...Falcon! - The Falcon Thread

Assuming that Anthony Mackie will return in Cap 3 as Sam Wilson, what do you expect from the allmighty Falcon? How could he help the plot, what do you want to see? What will his costume look like? Military chic or red and white spandex? Will he talk to birds? Will they listen?

I'm sure Sam will be back. I hope to see him become more of Steve's partner, the way Natasha was in Cap2.

Somewhere in my head, Falcon ends up flying a sort of Robotech prototype or something. That'd be fracking awesome! Maybe a bit over the top.

I'd like to see him get involved in some shenanigans and get his telepathic bird powers, or perhaps, instead get access to a number of hawk-like drones that allow him to master recon. I think I'd want him in red and black with the weaponized wings like what we've seen on EMH, useful not just for flight, but for cutting and launching as thrown blades. Call it the Redwing system even.

I'd like to see Falcon play pretty much the same role he played in Cap 2, keep Cap grounded, provide reflective advice and keep things a little lighthearted by being the normal guy in this crazy world. He's still very much a modern military guy, which is why they connect, but modern military isn't suerheroes, and as much as Falcon plays on the edge of that world, he's not about to take on an army of killer robots anytime soon. He's still the everyman. He still jogs and eats breakfast, y'know? He has to go to the bathroom and wigs out when inhuman monstrosities show up.

What if Stark was to take the reigns on his new suit, "throw a little hot rod red in there and then give him a neurally linked remote controlled bird? With headgear similar to this:

I see no problem with it. He can use his telepathic link to view the world though there eyes and basically turn them into his drones. Also it would give him and advantage in battle seeing as he could see the battle field from different vantage points and no one could sneak attack him.

It would be awesome if it worked like the Pains Rinnegan on Naruto.

This Pain he can use his Rinnegan(wierd looking eyes) can create a telepathic connection to others and sees though there eyes while also linking there vision together to see everything at once.

I definitely see Falcon looking more like his comic book version (suit color wise and w/o the mask)

Yeah I don't think he'll wear a mask but I think he'll definitely be rocking a red and white suit.

I'm not feeling the telepathy. A bunch of "Redwing" Drones he can scout with sounds awesome though.

This is a world where a commando would go into battle wearing a uniform that would make him a target, where Cap, even in his capacity as a covert operative on a secret nighttime raid, still wears a stylized uniform emblazoned with a white star.

Plus, T'Challa is a guy who dresses as a panther.

T'Challa could say that the best Wakandan warriors of times past wore red and white in battle, and that a battlesuit, either made for Wakandan soldiers or specifically for Sam, would use those warriors as an inspiration.

It could be color based because some falcons have a reddish sheen to their wings, and obviously in Wakanda culture if you're going to wear an animal inspired battle suit you need a related color to go with it.
