Infinity War For A4 we need a scene of the Black superheroes

Two American military veterans asking for citizenship? This just seems like major pandering.

It would be a joke... in an after credit scene. They would see how technically advanced wakanda seemed mixed with a african centric culture and ask.
"What i gotta do to become a Wakandan citizen."

Of course it makes no sense but its a nice fun way to have all the black heroes in one place. I dont care if the were military generals if you have the option as a black person to vacation in Wakanda you are going to Wakanda.

Talking about some damned pandering...like black heroes wanting to be wakandan citizens is too out there.
Falcon seems to love the place....

A not so funny joke. I would have a problem that two successful African Americans, who made something of themselves fighting for a country that originally brought Africans over here for slavery, to just turn their backs on their fellow African Americans and try to get citizenship to the only Black country that is wealthier than the western world? The one Black superpower that could have ended the suffering for all Black people centuries ago if they weren't selfish, ignorant isolationists?????? It's the one major gripe I had with Black Panther, that it's villain was pretty much the only true African American in the movie (he might have been half Wakandan, but he was still very much a born and raised American)

And it becomes a forced scene that's clearly pandering. It might be fun to some, but I imagine most would se it as clearly forced.

Why would only black people want to vacation to Wakanda? I want to vacation there, and I'm not black.

Falcon loves the place, cool. A man who watched his friends die in combat fighting for the country he swore to protect, who's spent many years protecting America, wants to bail because he sees a country of all black people with lots of technology? Talk about an awful person.

I love Italy. It's an amazing country with a lot of history, great food, and lots to do. But I have zero desire to move their, let alone get citizenship.

Falcon is a fugitive and Rhodes is gonna get court martialed, why wouldn't they seek refuge in an independent place.

Refuge sure, but Falcon has been doing that fue years already, and a court martial isn't life ending (and often ends up being nothing).

Plus if they're doing it, Cap, BW, and Wanda should be there too.

just because you're used to being on the run doesn't mean you don't want to stop running

And there's quite a number of countries that don't extradite that he could have already done that in.

Italy is not Wakanda. Social media, hell Black Panthers success proves that their is a utopian expectation when it comes to black people and Wakanda. That you fail to see how it as a place most black people, regardless of career, would want to live there doesn't mean its pandering...

If Black Panther 2 somehow has an end credit scene with all tha black superheroes in Wakanda for a vacation it would be incredible. Maybe not to you but to the many people that came to the Black Panther premiere in african garb it would be. To the black celebrities that rented out the theaters it would be. And to the people who never went to the movies to see a superhero movie until Black Panther it would definitely feel like a incredible moment.

I'm sure White Wolf also wants citizenship... he can take the picture.

So it's a message reaching out to a particular group in order to satisfy /indulge /cater to /gratify them. That's basically the exact definition of pander.

Italy may not be a utopia to you, but to others it is.

I'm sure Bucky does. They took him in, sheltered him, and helped him heal. I imagine he'd want the same thing in any country that provided that for him.

The entire point of the Black Panther movie was cater to a certain group of people. Why are you so adamant about a 30 second scene after the credits. We had Avengers eating swarma, a Howard the duck cameo, and Stan Lee in outer space... but you draw the line at all black superheroes on screen in the same shot?

I'm discussing the particular scene about the black superheroes wanting to join Wakanda at the moment.

None of the scenes listed were catered towards a particular group of people, except Howard which was to anyone familiar with comics (all backgrounds) and those familiar with the awful 80s movie.

I don't care if they're in the same shot, I just find it difficult to find a situation where you'd only have the 4 plus black heroes and noone else around that didn't feel like it was setup specifically to just have the black heroes on screen.

Falcon seems to love the place? I’m sure he does but where was anything in the movie to suggest this?

This arguement gets us nowhere. I belive it would be easy to get a group of black heroes all together in an after credit scene based in Wakanda. You don't. Agree to disagree. The entire pandering arguement when Black Panther movie exists with a Kendrick Lamar album is also getting us nowhere.

Good day sir.

It simply divides for no purpose. It doesn't explain why the other heroes aren't there. It doesn't explain why people from all over the world aren't there trying to get it. It totally passes over the end of BP where we see Shuri and T'Challa start the science center in Harlem in hopes of building up the area. Them asking for citizenship would be them bailing on a situation they don't like (extremely uncharacteristic) to get into Wakanda, again going against the end of BP.

I'd much rather a seen with multiple characters showing up to the science center asking how they can help. That shows strength, solidarity, and isn't division in the sequel to a movie whose main was point how isolation from others is a bad thing. But the Killmonger route is fine too I guess.

You seem to be coming from an honest and pure place and i see where you're coming from now. I still believe you can throw in a nice cultural scene like any other easter egg but i agree that division shouldn't be a sticking point in any movie. I really don't want to stick with this argument though. If you read my previous posts my mind never changes. Still its nice to see you simply want a strong, inclusive positive message and not just "sjw" is bad.

I totally get where you're coming from too. I just want everyone together on an equal playing field in bad ass movies for everyone to enjoy.

It's been fun discussing this with you.
