Yes.

After one season, we now have a pop-culture reference made to one of our favorite heroes.

In last night's episode of Kyle XY, Hillary, friend to Kyle's adoptive sister Lori, got frustrated by the fighting between Declan and Lori, and yelled out: "For the love of Peter Petrelli!"

I don't think there's any really anything in common between the two shows as far as personnel goes, and they are from competing broadcasting companies (ABC, NBC), so I can only call it a simple pop-culture reference.

Just thought it was interesting.

I think they are probably trying to give a nod to hero fans since it may appeal to the same demographics but honestly....Peter Petrelli is a good charecter but the most memorable I'd have to say is Hiro...and even so, hes not that awesome to say hes part of pop culture

The Office gave a nod to Heroes too. In one of the episodes Dwight says: "I'm not a hero, you know who's a hero? Hiro from Heroes."

"For the love of Hiro Nakamura!" just doesn't roll off the tongue as easy. :cwink:

Pfft. Hiro's over-rated. Yeah, hes funny and cool, but he isnt the greatest.

meh, Heroes is over-rated. It's a good show, but there's just too much hype. The hype will end by the end of the second season. Remember the hype surrounding Lost? It faded after the second season. The same will happen to Heores, IMO.

"Lost" fading has nothing to do with "dying hype". It has a LOT to do with "viewers were tired of unanswered questions". Considering (so far) Heroes has managed to at least partially answer the questions it has presented in a timely, non-strung-out manner, I think they'll do just fine.
