Bernie Mac is awesome...

The Bernie Mac Show is one of the greatest shows ever.

"Hey America", haha.

And his old comedy skits are a riot.

In the script Bobby B. is trying to get his mother (whose living across the street) attention, here's one of the lines:

"Momma, don't make me throw this rock at you!"

LMAOL!

There are ALOT of other aspects added to this scene- I think added after they got Bernie Mac, because it's alot more to play with and do "his thing" than the original script would have allowed him to do.

Bernie Mac is indeed awesome. And from the looks of the trailer he plays the part well without being campy. He even delivers a "zen-like" line a la Star Wars. "It's not the driver that picks the car..."

When I first heard he was cast I was afraid they were going to use him as the "funny sidekick" (Martin lawrence in House Party, etc)... I'm glad that wasn't the case.
