I'm talking about the old, short-lived Avengers WC spinoff that ran during the 90s. I really like some of the characters in it, and I remember watching the old Iron Man cartoon (which featured the team as supporting characters) when I was a kid. I know somebody with the series, who says he would sell it to me cheap if I wanted them.

I want to hear the opinions of the people here before I devote the money, and more importantly, the time on this series. I've read some bad things from these people, particularly that the artwork is bad. After seeing some of the pictures they've posted, and looking through the first couple of issues, I have to agree. The women are drawn to be very hot, but the men are freaking butt ugly. Does the art get any better than this? Also, what about the story? I don't know anything about it, but a 90s "Xtreme!" version of the Avengers makes me somewhat suspicious.

Overall, is this book worth it?

I didnt think much of it.

If you ask me they would have been better off keeping the AWC alive.

Wow, how weird. I JUST found my #1 of this. Not that great a series, IMO, and the cover of #1 is truly ultimate 90's flair with the fold out section.

Just don't spend too much money on this series. It's purely a bargain bin comic. I own all the issues, and while I've read them, they are not memorable in the least.
