hey guys, any foriegner fans out there? well i saw them live last night in hot springs and they ROCKED! the lighting was great and the music was incredible! there were alot of technical difficulties because right before the show some guy spilled water over the sound station but it was still great.
the band has some new members now, including legendary led zepplin drummer, jon bonham's son jason. the new singer was an amazing vocalist i didnt think foriegner would be very good without paul rogers (who is touring with queen) but they went and found someone better! the concert was great and if they come by your town during this years tour make plans to see them you wont be disapointed!

Why not? They've NEVER had Paul Rodgers. Their original lead vocalist was Lou Gramm. Paul Rodgers fronted Free and Bad Company, not Foriegner...

And now he's fronting Queen.

I love Foreigner, never among the elite list of classic rock bands but they had some great, fun songs back in the 1970s'. 4 is still a great album.

That being said, I can't imagine them without Lou Gramm. It's like Queen without Freddie. They'll never find a suitable replacement.

JUKE...BOX...HERO!

I've never been too into Foreigner, but they always seemed like a great band to see live.

Dang your lucky you saw Foreigner there one of my all time favorites

Watching baseball + jar full of grape jam = loads of fun

I agree. Lou Graham WAS Foreigner as far as I'm concerned. He was one of the most underrated vocalists of his time, and there are very few who can sing like he did.

i was nearly positive paul rogers was in foriegner but i guess im wrong and it was lou graham the new guy is better though (i can't remember his name) he rocked!

**** foreigner. I saw the Allman Brothers a couple of weeks ago. That was a sick show.

Doesnt Foreigner play Carnival Cruises now?

I was just checking out Foreigner's latest line-up. It's not even Foreigner. It's Mick Jones with a bunch of other guys. He's the only one left from the original band or any of it's previous incarnations. Interestingly enough, he's got Jeff Pilson, formerly of Dokken, on bass along with Bonham on drums. The singer is Kelly Hansen, who used to be with a band called Hurricane in the 80's who had a couple of mild hits. He's a good singer, but he is definitely no Lou Gramm.

Nice. I've actually been petitioning Govt. Mule (Former Allman Bros. players) to come through my town. I really want to see them live.

The Cashew Brothers kick more ass!

Anyway, if you can't turn off your mind, relax and float down Juke Box Hero and Urgent, I'm sad for you.
They have a lot of that expertly wedged in simple guitar fill stuff I love as with the Cars and DEVO.

If they did "Hot-Blooded", then so much the better.

Sadly, no other Foreigner songs will appear on my love-list.
